My first time trying Tapas and Paella so I will always remember my amazing first time at Mochuelo in Fresno. All of the staff and personal are super professional, friendly, and attentive. The environment and atmosphere on a rainy Saturday date night made the dining experience so much more lively. I will recommend Mochuelo to anyone who lives or visits the Central Valley.

We had a large party and ordered most of what was on the menu. Most everything was bland or bitter. I am upset that we spent $600 for bad tasting food. We won't be back. Do better

Love this restaurant in general and its atmosphere but went last night with the family and was shocked to see the changes in the menu. The prices have been raised at least 50% on most items. There is no cheese board anymore so when you order queso for the table at $22 it’s just cheese no longer the cheese board. You have to buy it all separately, including the nuts.It was honestly shocking. Also the new chairs are so cold. I’m so sad that this experience was so bad.

Nice ambiance, attentive staff. Overall delicious tapas. We had a party of 3 and ended up ordering 7 dishes and 1 dessert.Ordered croquettes, which were delicious. Patatas braves, empanadas, and sospicho also good.Though popular with other reviews, did not enjoy the Moroccan tacos as much.Favorite dishes for us were the ribeye, lamb meatballs, and the churros dessert.Highly recommend giving this place a try.

Ok where do I start1st the smell of cigar as soon as you walk in is crazy !2nd the curtains that divide the restaurant from the hotel lobby look and smelled dirty maybe use some contemporary Shelfs to divide the place instead of wedding like curtains.3rd the food is mediocre at best no taste cheap ingredients. The “seafood” paella has frozen dollar tree like seafood.Service was good drinks 7 out of 10

Very good place to eat and enjoy your time. I highly recommend it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Never had a bad meal here. Amber is the lead mixologist and also helps create the menu which changes regularly. Can’t get enough of the cocktails and have never disliked a single food item I’ve been served (I do have favorites though). This used to be our backup plan if Annex didn’t have room (we plan poorly) and now it’s a Plan A!Can’t wait to be back!

We waited for over 20 minutes before having to flag down a host and ask for a server to come take our order. Very disappointing

Stumbled into this gem while staying at the Hotel Piccadilly in Fresno, CA. It is a tapas style restaurant. The tapas we had was great and decent portions for two people. The cocktails were very creative and tasty (not skimpy either). Our server Constance was on top of everything, very friendly. There is dining inside and outside. When we dined on a Friday night, the inside was very loud from the people talking. Outside was much more our style, quiet and open-aird. Only downside, it is adjacent to a well-traveled street and the traffic occasionally was loud.

Executive Chef Megan runs a beautiful restaurant with very talented staff. Her menu is so creative and exciting! We were a group of six, and the shareable bites were just right for everyone to enjoy generously portioned items. The timing was impeccable, too! Just as we'd finish one dish, another was being passed around the table. We must've ordered half of everything on the menu, no exaggeration! Each dish was equally as unique and delicious as the next, including the not-to-be-missed desserts! Truly, there were no misses! Not one! That sentiment was shared by everyone in our group, and we're a tough crowd, foodwise.I am a visual eater, and the anticipation of tasting the food was ampped up by the beautiful presentation. I loved the dishware, too; no boring, same-ol, sterile white! There was variety, which let each menu item shine. If found, I'd actually buy some for my home collection, such as the deep blue rectangular platters and sauce bowls.Thank you, Chef Megan, for making Fresno's Mochuelo my new favorite restaurant! The only problem ... I live in L.A.! Can you say " road trip!"
We left hungry and sober. Drinks are mediocre. my mule tasted like expired ginger beer. and the kiwi fresca was way too sweet. empanadas taste like they came from the freezer. I'm mad I'm spending my money here. Won't be coming back.

I give the food one star because my mother-in-law ordered an octopus toast and it came with avocado and black avocado and I ordered paella and the paella with a lot of oil was the first time and the last time I
