Mr. Pickle's Sandwich Shop - Fresno, CA

Would be nice for a first time customer if you had some guidance for where I stand to get food instead of making me guesss when you have people just standing all over. Seemed easier to order grub hub from here as they were all piled up. Left. Won’t try it.

How do you guys mess up almost every single sandwich? Ordered 6 sandwiches, 2 were right. Like you read the receipt and put the fries in the bag. Wrong bread, no bacon on any, wrong condiments, wrong combos. I’m sorry, but I get one mistake, but 4 complete mistakes? Plus we saw the disrespect with the portion sizes being way lower than when we go in person. Always great ordering online to make your lives easier for you to purposefully mess up our food.

Edit to owner response: It’s a metaphor for the fact that your job is too easy for you to fail so hard and be so incompetent. But my outcome with my order now makes sense seeing management is just as incompetent to not catch that 😂.

Do not go to this place. This place is a ripped off. I paid $20 for a tiny sandwich. Go to deli delicious or subway is 4x bigger n cheaper. I want my money back!!

Store is not paying attention to customer selection on ingredients. One of the Kickin' Chicken (sammie) (online) missing cheese added mustard when I selected NO mustard. Skimpy on the chicken; one sandwich only got two pieces of chicken.

They never staff enough during the lunch rush. One person serving current customers with a line out the door and having to ring up their own sales, while one only made sandwiches for online orders and some random guy messing around in the back not helping anyone. No one has time to stand in line for 25 minutes of their lunch hour before they even get their food

Stopped by today. Was asked which option I wanted for this and that and I had what I thought was a good convo with the employee. Specifically bacon, sourdough toasted and no mayo. Didn’t get any of that. She knew it as I sat there and ate it. I was so tired from traveling for 24 hours I didn’t pick up on the mayo until half way through it so I threw the rest away, which for $18 that’s an expensive sandwich.

Once I picked up on it I looked up and she was watching me and then looked away. I normally like this shop but today’s service was horrible. Food quality Is consistent.

The staff was fine, but the wait is always too long. The sandwiches are as good as any Mr Pickles, and it is my favorite sandwich shop. Please, please step it up and have enough staff so you don’t have to wait a half hour when you have 4 people ahead of you.

Anthony and Johnny made our sandwiches tonight. I've never been here before or heard of this place. Family was craving sandwiches for dinner. Both guys were so helpful and patient with my husband and I. They answered all our questions and threw in some recommendations. I never hesitate to leave a review when the services is exceptional. Anthony and Johnny definitely fit into that category. Thanks for making our first time Mr. Pickle experience a memorable one.

*We ordered the CJ's Pastrami, Goomba, Reuben, and the Hang Loose sandwiches. I didn't even have time to take a picture because everyone ate them so fast. I recommend getting the Dutch bread or sourdough.

My wife and I have had our lunch together and or separate several times now. I do have to say… it’s truly very friendly great working together employees always juggling so many things at once. Special shout out to Omari: I have seen this young man making my sandwich prob from his first day and he has done phenomenal job… I looked at my full sandwich cut half pc and it was hit wow it is layered perfectly w all the veggies and cheese… superb young man. Thank you always take time to make sure you make the right sandwich. Second shoutout to I think her name is Laura. She has checked us out prob 4-5 times. Always remembers what kinda chips we like never forgets to tell us to put our rewards. And to top it off I see her always treating her employees w respect and friendly yet gives direction when it’s needed. Great place to eat fresh perfectly made sandwich.

When i think mr pickles sandwich shop i honestly thought it would be a pickle sandwich with pickles as the bread. But it wasnt and even though it wasn't i was not disappointed. They really know when you say extra pickles, what that means! Probably a new favorite sandwich shop for me.

Customer service was blandThe guy making the sandwiches made them look pretty but one of the sandwiches was supposed to be hot and the meatballs were still cold. Also asked for the works on that sandwich and didn’t get any of it. Quality could be betterPlace was very clean tho.

Well let’s see…. Walked in and I was the only guest. Was told ‘I’ll be with you in a moment’ 2 more employees came from the back. Second guest came in and they proceeded to help her first… third guest came in and they started to help him before me also… I announced my departure and how freaking RUDE they were for not assisting guests in order of arrival. This was my first visit and I don’t plan to return! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!

Best sandwich ever (: top 3 place I’ll go for a sandwich ?
