1st time visitor and last time. My family and I tried this restaurant for the time today for my wife's birthday. Our reservation was at 4:30pm and we were the first and only table in the place for like an hour. Good food & service and went down hill from there. During the course of my meal I used the mens bathroom only to discover the nasty unclean s*** on the floor trash cans over flowing piss on the ground no paper towels Mens restroom. Makes me wonder how clean the employees hands can be working with the food. I spent $172 with tip and I can say honestly we will never return. Too bad and most unfortunate.

We had great service, the food was delicious and drinks were tasty. Great variety of choices. We had vegan, and vegetarians in our party and chef was very accommodating.

We tried Nami again and again-- they failed. My granddaughter loves sushi but unfortunately has developed a fish allergy. She can eat all shellfish. We carefully selected rolls with no fish and no unagi sauce or massage. We advised of her allergy, and she offered to help with the selection. We advised we had been able to find items and asked her to place the food on a separate plate When the food arrived, it was all together, with massage. Because of the crumble, we weee able to get it off of the top. When we explained to the waitress that she could have caused a real situation, she was like a deer in headlights. She offered to make more. Of course, her offer was declined. This place has declined since the pandemic. Plates are chipped, it's really not the cleanest, and I noticed a couple light fixtures need repair. Needless to say, I won't be back. The decline in service and disregard for health is a bit much. Be careful.

Fairly confused about the negative reviews but we just transferred to California from Florida & this was the first sushi place we ate over here. I'm half Japanese & grew up eating sushi & sashimi majority of my life & have encountered sub-par sushi before & this was anything but that. Our server was super nice & lovely, the prices are decent, the salmon rolls & salmon nigiri's we got were perfectly sized. We definitely will make an effort to come back here when we get the chance & will recommend to our friends

Nami has become our family favorite. From the staff to the food everything was great. I read previous reviews about waiting a long period of time to be seated or get food, but it's understandable. For one, everyone is having a hard time getting people to work, Nami is doing the best they can, they have a sign posted on their front door that states "HELP WANTED." Our teppanyaki dinner experience today was great, and our chef made it fun for my two young children, we will definitely return. Also, you can make reservations ahead of time to accommodate wait times.

One of my favorite restaurants, their chefs who do the Teppanyaki make the experience so fun. The foods amazing, the service is great, and the wait isn't too bad.

My daughter and I went there last Friday. It was a disappointment. The restaurant was dirty.as soon as we walked in. Then when we got to the Tempanyaki area a bug ran across the counter. Why we stayed after that I don't know. The seafood was old and fishy tasting. The high chairs were broken. It was not a pleasant experience. We will never go back.

Tried this place as a last minute meal. Ordered for take out. It wasn't bad but Wasn't as savory as I craving. It was worth the try and we had full bellies

Can you give zero stars? Got there with only one other table seated - we sat and ordered. Other tables arrived way after us and somehow got their food before us? We got our appetizer and then nothing else. They had one server and one sushi chef working for a restaurant that ended up getting a little busy. Server kept avoiding our table until we finally said we just wanted to pay for our one appetizer and to cancel the other rolls. They acted like it was totally unreasonable to be asking where our food was after sitting and waiting for 90 minutes. No thank you.

Came here for some sushi after a day's outing. I'll admit my friends didn't pick the most appetizing rolls as I was looking forward to some fresh tuna and salmon rolls. They ordered strongly tempura shrimp rolls for some reason so that is part of the let down from my experience. Nonetheless, I was pretty disappointed in general. For starters, we ordered the Rocky shrimp and oysters. Rocky shrimp taste as you expect, no complaints there. Is it worth the $9? Eh maybe closer to 5, max 7. In my experience with ordering oysters anywhere, they bring out sauces for you to dress them as you please--which I very much prefer. The oysters are pre sauced, including wasabi. I'm not much of a wasabi person in general, but especially not on my oysters. None of us realized the pairing until we ate it. It's a little over $2 per oyster which is fair, but I still would rather dress my own oysters. We ordered a couple drinks; I ordered the Blue Hawaiian which was super yummy, sweet, wish it was just a little stronger. Friend ordered Love Potion and she was disappointed it lacked a sugar rim--lightly sweet but the strawberry was there, also makes for a yummy cocktail. For our rolls, the party got butterfly kiss, shaggy dog, scorpion, and avocado eel. I didn't care for really any of them out of personal preference. We did have trouble with the avocado eel. The roll is cut large but thin--therefore the seaweed wrapped around becomes long, when eating, the seaweed wrap piece was very difficult to eat through, a couple of us nearly choked while eating it. Finally, the biggest disappointment of them all: the tamago. Lol yes it is just egg but we all love ordering it. This is definitely not worth $5. We actually ordered two plates but they only put in an order for one and I'm glad because what was brought out was just sad. I've never ever been served such a thin, floppy piece of sweet spongy egg in my life. The texture also was off, almost dry..it was more reminiscent of snow fungus which if you haven't tried that, imagine a slightly soft, tough cartilage. Like I said, I love tamago--this just was not it. On a positive note, our server was super polite and sweet. Overall, for the price, I wouldn't come back here. The experience was lackluster and didn't meet my expectations. I really wanted to love this place seeing as they were a potential revolving sushi bar, but I wouldn't even come back when they do start that up. Maybe the teppanyaki side is better?

Went for the first time last week with my husband for lunch. We had tried to go to Heirloom but it was beyond slammed, and decided to try Nami since it was in the same shopping center and we love sushi. When we arrived, the place was pretty empty. There were maybe 3 other customers there. We were seated right away by the server. He asked what we wanted to drink, and we ordered tea and waters. He then left to put the order in, came back within a few minutes with our drinks, and then said he would come back after checking on the other guests. We went through the menu and decided to order the baked mussels, sea salt edamame, I wanted the seafood salad as my entree, and my husband wanted the dragon roll for his entree. Our server was checking on the other guests for awhile, and was the only one helping on the floor. There was another man we saw who would come out from the back every once in awhile and slowly walk around, only to retreat back into the employee area. The only other employee we saw working was the chef behind the sushi counter. I was starting to get anxious because my lunch hour was dwindling down, and we eventually had to wave the server down to get our order. We ordered everything at once and waited. And waited. And waited. The music was like a Japanese zen garden kind of music and was seriously going to put me to sleep. Eventually he brought out the seafood salad, and I was shocked at how small it was. It was on a small plate (like the size you get for a bread roll) and it was drenched in sauce. It was good, however the sauce was overwhelming and I found myself almost gagging because it was too much, almost like soup. I ordered the seafood salad as my entree and the fact that it was the size of my fist was really disappointing. They should move that option to the appetizer menu. I felt bad that I was eating before my husbands roll came out, but as I said I was on a lunch break and had to get back. Eventually the server brought out the edamame and the baked mussels. Still no dragon roll. The baked mussels were very good. The edamame was extremely over cooked. They hardly had any salt, and they turned to mush the moment you touched them. I have never had bad edamame, and I was pretty surprised that they looked at what they were about to serve and thought it was a good choice to bring out. As my husband are eating the mussels and trying to make the best of the edamame mash, we see a roll that looks like the dragon roll on the sushi counter. The server was going around the place cleaning, arranging things, wiping things down, and walked past the roll at least 5-7 times. He never once looked at us as we tried to get his attention, and he stayed on the other side of the restaurant so of course we're not going to yell across the room to contact him. My husband and I were in disbelief that no one thought to bring us the food sitting there staring at our faces. We waited for almost ten minutes with the roll sitting on the counter. Finally, my husband had enough and he went to the sushi counter and asked the chef if that was his dragon roll. The chef said yes. He asked if he could just take it to our table because our server wasn't "serving" us at all. The chef looked almost ashamed, and nodded. So my husband grabbed his roll and walked back to our table. As he walked back, he passed the server and the server smiled at him like nothing! The server didn't even come to the table and say "hey so sorry! Didn't see the roll there. How's it tasting? Do you need anything?" He literally never came back to our table to check on us. My husband finally ate his food, and then we sat once again waiting for the server to glimpse our way for a check. While we were waiting to get the servers attention, a new guest came in and was seated on the opposite side of us. He immediately started taking her order, so we took that chance to interrupt and ask for our check as we had been waiting awhile. My husband had his card ready because he didn't want to have to wait another absurd amount of

It's like everyone who works here either has never worked in a restaurant or hates working here . The server Vincent was so slow , took his time and stood around, another server on the tepenyaki side came over to dine in and refused to help after the hostess asked, who also sat parties that came in after us before us. The food is subpar and the lack of customer service is a new bar for disappointment. Similar experiences on every other occasion we've been here, never coming back and going to Namikaze instead. When I was a server and a hostess I would have never gotten away with such a lack of urgency

3.5 stars Service is good, seating is spacious and deco is fine. One of the sushi chef has been sniffling the whole time and he's not wearing a mask. Food wise, butterfly kiss roll is beautifully presented but a tad too much soy sauce at the bottom. The tonkasu noodle broth doesn't feel tonkasu and the chasiu is not soft enough but the overall portion is generous. The sashimi bento box came with salmon tuna and white butter fish, which is better than the usual salmon run hamachi combo.

Good: * Noodles that come in teppanyaki are nice. * Actual vegetables included in teppanyaki - not the sprouts :) * Cheerful chef. Kept throwing broccoli in guests' mouths. Not so good: * Dirty place. And not in a good way. * A little stinky. * Salad dressing was 80% mayonnaise. * Too bright light (which made all the dirt visible). * For a place that opened in 2019 it looks sadly outdated and worn down. This is not your "Wasabi on Fire" or "Hino Oishi". Thank you for the meal and for feeding us at a past-9 pm-hour.

Went for a birthday party with 8 people total. Nothing special about the evening, pricey. Had to be moved because of bad odors. Much better ambiance at any number of local places. My first and last time here.
