It was decent sushi. Not as many choices as most local sushi places. Still good. This is a strange review to write. There was nothing wrong with the place but I'll probably go to others instead. Oh but did not like garlic edimame, tasted sweet.

The food is mid at best. I’m writing this review based on the service I got when I walked in for a take out order. I walked in by myself prior to any others being present. The hostess who was managing take out orders, proceeded to ignore me and help a couple who walked in well after I did. This type of service is unacceptable.

The restaurant overcharged me and I asked for correction. They ended up charging me multiple bills and denied they messed up with my bill. I had to contact my credit card company to dispute the charge. I got a reimbursement few days after. Unnecessary headache. Make sure to check your bill. Mistakes can happen but they refused to fix it and the credit card company did.

I ordered Hamachi-Kama, squid sushi, and uni pasta. This restaurant did great Hamachi-Kama pair with ponzu sauce. Service was great as well. If you love Hamachi-Kama, I would recommend this restaurant…5 stars!!!

I arrived at the restaurant at 9:21pm on a Monday night and asked if I could order. They had all of the chairs on the tables, but their sign says they close at 10pm both online and in the store. No holiday hours issues. They tell me at 9:24 that they did a last call at 9:30pm and no one was there so they closed the restaurant. Lost a $75 order because the tall blonde manager just wanted to go home. I will never return.

Went to Namizake on a Sunday, around 1pm. The service was good. Everyone we talked to was very nice and attentive. The low rating is solely based on the food. We ordered the Kimono and Katana rolls, along with the pork belly donburi + karage lunch special and the Namizake nachos. Oh! And the spicy garlic edamame. Every single dish was subpar. Maybe even below subpar. Almost every dish had ZERO flavor and it was expensive. The price wouldn't have been a problem had the food at least tasted good. Even their ginger and wasabi was low quality. They serve pink ginger and pastel teal colored wasabi, I've never seen anything like it. Obviously very low quality. Not sure how this place has 4 stars. I want to reiterate that the wait staff was very pleasant!

I love this place. The food is always incredible. Super fresh and tasty! I’ve never had a bad thing on the menu. Service is sometime hit or miss… but all in all it’s great. I love their spicy garlic edamame! I highly recommend!
Ambiance was wonderful, food was fresh, and service was on point! The staff were very polite and the atmosphere was very relaxing.

After looking for a sushi place with decent reviews I found namikaze. My partner and I drove 30 minutes to try this place out and when we walked in around 8 the staff was already shutting the restaurant down which wasn't very inviting. We ordered our food and before we finished we asked for another round of drinks and the check which was all before 930. The waiter informed us that the bartender was not serving any drinks because she already cleaned the bar. We only chose this place because the hours said they were open until 10pm which was a lie because they turned off the open sign way before 10pm. When I asked the server why they were closing when the hours posted said they close at 10 she said "oh yeah only today because we're slow". I'm guessing this isn't the first time they've ever closed early and business would probably be more consistent if the restaurant operated during the hours they say they do. Disappointing experience and not worth the commute...I also found a hair in my sushi roll.

It was ok at best. I love me a good sushi spot experience but was disappointed in this one. The location and ambiance are rather underwhelming. The seating is sort of uncomfortable and the sushi rolls all seem to taste the same. Didn't enjoy it too much despite ordering multiple kinds. The pricing is also quite high for the quality. One of our rolls had some kind of bug crawling on it and even though we notified our waiter and it was replaced, still questionable as in how or what that was. Will likely choose alternative locations over this one.
