O-iza is a treat from beginning to end, with a gorgeous ambiance, fabulous food with beautiful presentation, and caring service. All the details are thoughtful, from the rose water hand towels to the chopstick holders to the candles and light fixtures... You feel special just being in this beautiful space and being presented with such lovely plated dishes! Our server, Alice, was fantastic! She guided us through the menu and made several suggestions, which were fabulous. We ended up ordering the waygu gyoza appetizer, which has such a nice texture and savory flavor. We also got the sea bass entree, which is served over a bed of risotto and oh man! This was so fantastic! Comfort food and cooked to perfection! We also got the salmon spoons from the sushi menu, also the servers recommendation, and these were a party in your mouth! Bright and fresh! Also, complimentary edemame is provided with your meal and it is the best! There's sugar and a little spice on it so its just so addinctingly yummy! Finally, we had to try the chocolate sesame desert, which had a great combination of flavors and textures! Overall, we had the best experience and loved the service, food, and ambiance of O-IZA and can't wait to come back to try more!

I recently celebrated my birthday here, and overall, it was a great experience. Although we had reservations, there was a delay in seating, but the restaurant made up for it by offering complimentary wagyu beef dumplings, which were delicious! Our server was incredibly sweet, attentive, and helped make the night feel special. The food was flavorful and well-prepared, and they even brought out a sweet treat at the end to celebrate my birthday. Despite the initial wait, I’d definitely recommend this spot for a memorable night out!

I expected more from this place. This was supposed to be the premium Japanese place in Fresno but my experience there was just "okay". Our food was kind of bland and wasn't a wow moment. For the price, the dishes we had was not memorable but was still an experience. Maybe we'll give another shot in the future.

**Mediocre quality (food, service, atmosphere) for top-notch prices** Came here for a birthday. Ordered Karashi Curry Lamb Chop, Uni, Venom sushi roll, and Kumori Mohito....Uni was not fresh. Mohito drink consisted of a full glass of ice, so it was very diluted and flavorless. 1 of the 3 Lamb chop pieces consisted of oily fat only. I didn't say anything about it until waiter came, and I asked for the tab. She asked how the Lamb chops were, and when I told her, she told me she'd ask the manager to get it partially taken off the tab. 10 minutes later, she came back with a small matcha parfait (for the birthday person) and a tall matcha parfait on the house for the inconvenience- and told us that there has been several complaints about the Lamb chops lately and the tall matcha parfait is to compensate the fatty/oily lamb chop. (Matcha parfait was ? BTW, in case anyone is wondering).
We waited around for 15 minutes for our tab that never came. We walked up to the lady at the computer. She said she don't have access to our tab and will get it from manager. She came with a tablet and went straight to the tip and pay screen. We paid and walked out. I then looked at the itemized receipt where it showed we got charged for the "complimentary matcha parfait on the house". We had to go back in to get the adjustment.
I was just, livid at that point. I am proud of myself for not dropping the F bomb on them.

The food, the experience ,the atmosphere was truly amazing. The excellence on the food presentation far supersede my expectations. The honey mango Wasabi shrimp was exceptional the sweet tangy an spicy flavor made me salivate for more, texture an flavors in well combination of one another. The sashimi was perfect in size an weight, nice clean cuts pure perfection. Sashimi dish I got was the unagi, take, sake, maguro, hamchi, all perfectly sliced and presented far above other places that serve Sashimi. The hibachi ribeye was tender moist flavorful from start to finish, perfectly cooked to my liking. The karashi curry lamb chops was the pinnacle of perfection superb in flavor amazingly presented with a caramelized slices of peach. It was the perfect combination. The fujiyama was perfect in flavor amazing texture perfect size truly astounding. For the drinks I tried the Kumari mojito, and the blood orange mojito great pair for my entire meal. My server Itzelani was great amazing always checking in an me to see if I needed anything else she was phenomenal. Hands down a great server, the staff in general were amazing, taking care of all my needs. Highly recommended for an intimate evening perfect experience. The food was well priced, a truly exceptional place. Highly recommended. Will be back for more. Loved it.
Parking: Plenty of parking available make sure to arrive early to find parking close by though.
