We are here for lunch on a Thursday afternoon, it was around 1pm & we waited 5-7mins for our table. Their lunch menu is a great option, we had sushi obento & temaki ranchi which came with a miso soup, portion is ok for 2 at lunch. Sushi is fresh & so delicious, yellowtail & flatfish is really good. For temaki, I wished they have more raw options on the lunch menu 😀, my favorite is the crunchy garlic kani. Overall, the restaurant is clean & well-decor, fresh cuts, a great place for a date night or even lunch. Oh, the compliment green bean is so good!

Some of the best sushi and authentic Japanese food you can get in Fresno. Anything you select from the menu is very high quality and has a high attention to detail. Prices are relatively high; worth the money in my opinion. Service is very professional and friendly. Ambience is elegant and simple. Highly recommend for special occasions or when you just feel like splurging on a great experience.

Very modern, beautiful, elegant atmosphere, top notch service. Sushi was splendid. Hot tea was pretty low quality, but everything else was wonderful.
Excellent food. Great service.

I didn’t get my server’s name.. it was something like Mitchi? I went Friday night to celebrate my anniversary and this was honestly the best experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant.
Sometimes when you go to a restaurant, you tend to feel out of place. Our server made us feel comfortable, guided us through the menu, and overall made us feel special.
The food being superb was a cherry on top!

In search of a sashimi boat of some sorts, to celebrate my spouses birthday, we arrived at O-iza, knowing from the menu they have a good selection of sashimi. Our waiter Carlye B helped us put together a dream birthday dinner for two, and orchestrated a perfect delivery. We started with Furikake Wagyu / bone marrow and Tagarashi baked oysters, both delicious and served in that special perfect Japanese presentation. For the main dish we selected a dozen of sashimi plates and asked to put it on one plate. What came to our table exceeded by far our expectations, see the pictures. The fish was as fresh as it gets and again the presentation was over the top fantastic! As desert we had Blk sesame hazelnut and matcha parfait (decorated on the occasion of said birthday). My spouse also received a small gift, which was very thoughtful. We spent a fe dollars on this dinner, but it was worth every penny!

our server today gave my family member and my wife each others plates and didn’t realize it till the second plate came out. keep in mind this place doesn’t have pictures at all on their menus. Some people may not know what to expect for their order without seeing a picture, especially if trying something new. The inconvenience of the server switching up their plates were fine until to realize she charged us for another plate of the order she gave to the wrong person. I feel like that should have been on the house since the waiter was at fault. As well as requesting for tea but did not receive but was charged for as well. This place and especially the waiter needs to do better. Their food wasn’t as good as well. Definitely go next door to Jpot instead, you will get what’s worth your money. This place is a waste of money. I ordered a udon pasta and it was $37 for not even good quality or hot food.. just for some sauce and noodles..

Modern Japanese fusion cuisine. The restaurant itself has a nice ambiance. Service is prompt and professional. The wagyu gyoza and hamachi ceviche were good along with the mango panna cotta. The mains (scallops and sea bass) were just ok. Overall a nice experience but the value for the price just wasn’t there for me to give it 5 stars.
