What a monumental disappointment. This place should be called Barrel of IPA's. All those beers and no balance in variety. Mostly bitter IPA after bitter IPA. I love a good beer and walked out empty-handed.

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at Out of the Barrel. My friend and I were enjoying our time with our very friendly and well-behaved pit bull, who was kindly playing with another dog. Despite this, the staff rudely approached us, accused our dog of being aggressive (which multiple bystanders disagreed with), and kicked us out in an unnecessarily hostile manner. To make things worse, they insulted us, calling us drunk—an absolutely false and inappropriate accusation.
This was nothing short of discrimination and an embarrassing display of poor customer service. Many people around us vouched that our dog was nothing but sweet, yet we were still treated with disrespect and forced to leave. If this is how they handle customers, I won’t be coming back, and I highly suggest others reconsider supporting a place that treats people this way. Truly disappointing.

Never have I ever been so disrespected in the community. I am an elected official and will be taking this matter directly to the mayor. I am a christian and expect to be treated with same respect that I give. We were told we didn't give ID after giving ID five different times and then the bartender took our beers away for no reason. Weird vibe and couldn't recommend less. If i could give less than one star i would. Out of the Barrel? more like out of business... couple of simps in there.
Edit: the owner has brought many things to my attention and now I like out of the barrel. everyone should go try this local business and taste the delicious bevvies!! Out of the barrel, thank you!🙏🏼. P. S. I forgot I stopped working for the mayor in the midst of the COVID pandemic, so I can’t even talk to him anymore

It’s the local dog park. Four dogs(different owners) roaming around the patio unleashed this evening. Had one dog trying to lick my leg, owner oblivious. This is the THIRD time we’ve been there and dogs are roaming off leash, around tables. 1) it’s rude to assume that others want some stranger’s dog rubbing up against them; 2) not all people are comfortable around dogs they don’t know; 3) there is a LEASH LAW in Fresno; 4) maybe the owners could look out for ALL their customers, and perhaps be aware of the injury and liability looming with one single incident. Try putting up a sign and require animals on a leash like every other responsible business in town.”Dog friendly” should not mean pet irresponsibility.
One of my favorite spots to get some beers in Fresno. They have a really good tap selection here and Cody is an awesome guy to talk to. Can't recommend this place enough ?
