Alexandra was a wonderful waitress tonight.! It was the first time I’ve been to this restaurant and it was wonderful. The service was great and so was the food! Definitely going back!

My friends and I needed a place to sit, visit, and of course eat. I had the chilli verde plate and I recall some Chicken Fajitas. Very good food and our server was very friendly.Parking: The restaurant is in the southeast section of this center. I parked in the rear which would not good for handicapped parking so the front entrance would be better for that.Wheelchair accessibility: The tables in one large section of the restaurant are low and all that would be necessary would be to move a chair, no problem. Since I parked in the rear I was not able to view the appropriate parking in front.

This is as the first time we have been here and we definitely will be back. The north Fresno location is tucked away in the corner so you could miss it if you aren't aware it's there. My husband admitted he's been to the hardware near it many times and didn't know it was there. We started off with a half order of guacamole, which was fresh and delicious with a bit of cheese, lettuce and the house spices. Their chips are tasty without being greasy or overly salty. Husband had the enchiladas meal and I had 2 birria tacos (available on taco Tuesday). We both enjoyed the fresh flavors of all the food. The fact that there was a nice amount of cheese that didn't smother things was a plus. The meat was nicely seasoned and not tough or chewy. If you love fresh tasty Mexican food try Papi's soon.

My group of 8 had a great Saturday morning brunch at this location. We arrived at 11:00 on a Saturday morning and got a table within 10 minutes. The service was quick and friendly. I had the carnitas plate ($19) which came with beans, rice and flour tortillas. The carnitas were tender and flavorful, the beans and rice were great as well. The flour tortillas were amazing! They were served fresh and hot. Our server was attentive and friendly. This Papi's location did not disappoint.

We went early on a Friday evening. It was kind of loud, but manageable in the dining area. The ambience was not stellar, but can't really point to any one thing. The room was a little dark for my taste. The chips were good, thin and crispy and the salsa good too. My low rating is mostly for the blandness of the food. My steak enchilada had good quality of meat, but the taste was just lacking. There was cheese on the outside like I like, but it was a thin dry crust. Price was ok, but I still prefer Casa Carona or Sals.

Papa's Mex Grill was nothing short of Amazing!! It was Great Food, an Inviting & Warm Host, and a Relaxed Atmosphere!!! I (We'll) definitely return soon!!!
I ordered the food via DoorDash today. Aside from the order arriving super late, the Carne Asada was poor quality and tasted like rancid gastric juices. I called to speak to the manager, Ralph. He was rude and crude, and constantly interrupted me denying how the food tasted, instead of allowing me to present the issue.I’ve been to this restaurant many times in the past. I have witnessed the Service and Quality slip over the last year or so.I would avoid this restaurant like the plague. I’m worried that my wife who had the shrimp will be ill later today.
