Doesn't deserve a 1 rating. This restaurant goes from bad to worse. Water is filtered but tastes just like mold. The salsa appears to be watered down tomato sauce seasoned with chili powder, no tomato pieces, onions, cilantro, all the usual you find in good salsa. It was terrible and just too hot. And to top it off we had to leave because we were being bombed by a wasp that was taking refuge behind our booth. I am done with them!

First time here, I ordered the chile verde breakfast which comes with 2 eggs, refried beans, and fried potatoes. Also comes with your choice of 2 handmade flour or corn tortillas. I ordered my eggs over medium and the flour tortillas. Ate the decent chips and delicious salsa while I waited a few minutes for my order. The chile verde was very good, plenty of flavor. The beans and eggs were very tasty and the potatoes reminded me of what I ate growing up. The handmade flour tortillas were very good, I almost ordered more! The waitress, Yolanda(?), was very friendly and checked on me often. She even made a fresh pot of coffee for me. I just started a new job near here so I will work my way through the menu. Rancheros made a very solid and tasty first impression!

We tried Ranchero when we first moved here in 2010. It wasn't bad, but for some reason we didn't go back until a couple of weeks ago. The food was good, the chips and salsa real good and service was excellent. To top it off the prices were reasonable.

Most food was good, but the rice and beans where kind of plain. The Chilli relleno was quite good.

Worst place I’ve ever been I swear on everything if you have FLAVOR this place is literally trash, everything came out of a can THE SALSA & BEANS , we ordered shrimp enchiladas & I couldn’t even chew the tortilla, my son was gagging. The plate was $17 .. if you want real authentic Mexican food get out of that area because it’s clearly catered to a certain group of individuals that has no damn taste. The server didn’t come to ask how our food was because he knew it tasted worse than dog food. The salsa literally tasted like the tomato sauce in a pizza lunchables. Just pure laziness and a disgrace to Mexican culture. PERIOD.

Absolute dog water of a Mexican restaurant. Everything was bland. The salsa served with chips tasted like it was cut with canned tomato soup. The salsa verde had dry chunks of pork sloppily strewn across the plate in a sauce thinner than water that was slightly green. Beans and rice were bland literally no flavor beyond the base ingredient. Shrimp tacos were unseasoned shrimp with some lettuce clumsily thrown in a tortilla. Taquitos were fine probably because the cook pulled it out of a freezer and into a deep fryer so it required zero input or thought on how to “cook” maybe that’s where they found him too in the freezer. Save yourself the lack luster meal and just go elsewhere.

Tostada salad with Chile Verde had like 3 - MAAAYYYYBE 4 - bite sized chunks of meat. The tostada shell was sitting in so much water in the plate it was a soggy noddle consistency, disappointing.
Service was slow, but the staff was friendly. The flavors of the food were good as well.
Hoping I just went on the wrong day, or ordered a bad dish. May try again.

My wife and I were disappointed. We really wanted to love this place. Our friends recommended it. I had ordered the Chile Verde omelette, it came with potato slices, and beans. So my experience with Chile Verde comes from almost ordering Chile Verde wherever it is offered. In addition my wife is Mexican and she's made Chile Verde many times and not just for me but for others but gets compliments all the time. The Chile Verde should not be watery. The sauce should be more of a gravy. I got to give it to this place though, they were pretty busy so they do have fans. My wife and I did not finish our dish. We had to go elsewhere to fulfill our stomachs.

My fiancé and I just went to this restaurant this past weekend and honestly, the food was terrible. My fiancé ordered enchiladas and he said the sauce tasted like something that came out of a jar or can and same for the salsa. I ordered shrimp fajitas and while it did come out sizzling and piping hot, it was the most bland fajitas I have ever tasted in my life. Zero seasoning on any of the food, not even salt and pepper. The beans looked like they had come out of a can and were just warmed up with some cheese thrown on top and the rice had zero flavor; it was basically like eating white steamed rice. The server was very nice and prompt, so it was really unfortunate that the food sucked so much. Save your money for a better restaurant.
