I ate her about 5 years ago and I thought that it was terrible and vowed to never eat here again. Apparently I forgot my own advice. I stumbled across this place one again after taking a long leisurely stroll around the block. I was getting hungry and figured "how nice it would be to walk to dinner." I made my way in, not remembering my previous endeavors and solid advice. I ordered a plate, took a few bites, and was instantly taken back to the pitiful time of my last visit. Born and raised in California, well traveled throughout the country of Mexico, both Norte and Sur, This is not the Mexican food you're looking for. Everything is poorly, or not even, seasoned at all. The rice looks beautiful, with its inclusion of onions and a faint, orange color, but taste like nothing at all. The beans could use some season, some salt, maybe some lard, anything to give it a little more flavor. the meats are plain, but salty. The enchilada sauce bland as well. the chips were thin and crispy and would pair well with so many different sauces. But their salsa here is more like a hot sauce. I truly want to like this place so much because it's so close to home and the idea of walking to dinner is one that I am very fond of, just like walking for my morning coffee. Unfortunately, this is not the Mexican food you're looking for.

How can y'all even afford the rent with such incredibly bad service and complete indifference to newcomers wanting to try out the place? After entering, I stood there for 4+ minutes before I was recognized ... Seriously?! The very young appearing female was so busy at the cash register with whatever she was doing to comprehend that some (i.e. me) had walked in.I think that it is commendable to employ the developmentally-delayed or intellectually-challenged at once's establishment; BUT this does not present as a welcoming environment.

Breakfast burritos are great. The next time I went I had the chili verde burrito, it was very good, the pork was tasty and tender.
Solid breakfast burritos! Good size and the right amount of filling. My only criticism is that I wish the salsa was spicier. Service was great!

We've been coming here for a while and it's a solid, decent spot. I have had stomach problems after coming here before, so sometimes it's a hit or miss, but the service is quick and the food isn't too bad. I don't mind dining in as well and their chips and salsa are pretty good.

Excellent food and especially the Flan - the best we have ever had. Very welcoming people. The atmosphere was comfortable and relaxed for our casual meal. The service was quick and the preparation of food was as per our specific instructions. The prices were very reasonable. Those who have high blood pressure or a heart or kidney condition, please check this place out. It gave us delicious food without the burden of salt. Too much salt, as noted in many restaurant foods, may mess up those medical problems.
Delicious!
