My family and I have been going to Rare Tea since they opened. My husband likes the Tai Tea, and my son likes the Strawberry Berry tea. I, to the contrary, have been very disappointed with their drinks. The customer service is not always good. I dislike the bitterness of the green tea base. I had a really plain and flavorless taro milk tea, a super sweet and strong coconut smoothie, bitter mango, passion fruit, fruit tea, and strawberry berry tea. They don't offer non caffeinated tea alternatives. I keep trying different options, and I am usually disappointed. The only decent drink I had once was the passion fruit smoothie. I am not sure I will continue spending money here.

The tea is way too orange to be organic, as the employees claim. The color of organic Thai tea isn't bright orange.

I love this shop because they have the best boba in Fresno in my opinion. Very warm, good chewiness, have a good consistency. The drinks are very good, and I come here a lot because not only do I love their drinks, but the interior as well! It's very simple, but elegant. Sometimes, their milk teas can lack in flavour though...but I love their fruit teas and the smoothies and toppings are amazing. They also have these cool events sometimes. The workers can seem a bit sad though haha like they don't wanna be there

Vanilla Chai w/ OatMilk 25% sweetness and Pumpkin Cloud foam: 6/10 isn't traditional chai, definitely mixed w/ black tea, not spiced, plain, tastes watered down, but still drinkable. If you like a basic chai you will definitely enjoy this. I would recommend asking for an extra scoop of chai if you like strong chai, & getting this item at 50% sweetness, and ditching thr pumpkin for Vanilla if you want to try the Cloud foam.Strawberry Matcha Latte w/ Vanilla Cloud Foam: 6/10 Mild, bland, not very sweet, but doesn't taste earthy. The strawberry is good, definitely fresh, but doesn't add any sweetness or complimenting flavors to the matcha. If you're a matcha girlie like me, I would recommend ditching the Strawberry, adding Vanilla or Brown Sugar to this (if available) and getting this item extra sweet. I also feel that adding Brown Sugar Boba to this elevating this drinking to an 8/10. Side note: I ordered on DD, and milk substitutions weren't available for this item, so if your lactose intolerant and would like to try this item, I would recommend ordering in store and asking about milk substitutions.Overall 6/10, but I will be trying different versions of these items & other items on the menu at a later date. This is just my opinion, & I hope y'all enjoy.If you really do love strawberries tho, those strawberries in the Matcha were fresh af & I would definitely recommend getting one of their other drinks featuring strawberries as the main character. Strawberries were so so so effing good. 10/10 on that strawberry jam. Not sweet, but super fresh and delicious.

Nice environment BUT….. I asked if they can mix flavors and they said “NO” because they’re not allowed too. I have no issue paying extra but the fact that they wouldn’t even bother mixing in two flavors really made me feel like walking out because they got upset after I started asking why they couldn’t mix two flavors.
