Steak was average. Service was terrible. We had to ask for silverware 3 times. Baked potato had dirt on the bottom. None of the pepper grinders worked. We even took some off of other tables. The other servers seemed more friendly but ours failed. It was not busy either so there was no excuse for poor service.

Staff was kind and attentive. Food was relatively good. I ordered lobster, it was dry n flavorless. I will try another option next time. Overall it was still nice.

Dinner for 2 is the way to go. Old-school vibe, great cocktails, and delicious steaks and prime rib. We will be back!

Went here with my mom for the first time tonight. She said it was a Fresno staple and hadn’t been in years and was in the mood for a steak. The service was adequate but the food was not worth the price. The prime rib was over-cooked and bland, the steak, while cooked quite well, was also quite bland. The soda was too syrupy and the Bloody Mary my mom ordered was WAAAY too salty. I actually wondered whether the bartender spilled a bunch into the drink. The side items were of poor quality, which at $50 a plate is just unforgivable. The “famous” green beans and rice pilaf were no different than the ones made by the culinary class at the high school where I work and my mashed potatoes were BOXED/POWDERED potatoes! Even Texas Roadhouse makes mashed potatoes from real potatoes. There’s no reason they should be charging those prices for something that Rice-a-Roni can do better. I don’t see myself eating here again when there are other steak places in town that serve better quality food.

if i could give this a 0 i would. horrible service. my prime rib was over cooked. from medium rare order to cooked well. was not correct. didnt offer to get it right almost was mad because i questioned it. then they ran out of prime rib to replace. they still charged me for my overcooked prime rib. horrible service bought apps/ food and still didn't have napkins or silverware for us after asking 2 times. left stuff on table/clearing table was a mess. One oyster was bad. food was bland. chicken salad and shrimp salad lacked any flavor. shrimp(dry as heck chicken) cocktail was gross. i personally don't want the sauce just covering the shrimp. manager did nothing to make this right. didn't even attempt. absolutely horrible i have only left a few reviews but this was an absolute horrible experience . We went for my Mother’s birthday, truly disappointed. For a $700+ meal. will never come back. will never suggest this to anyone. waste of my hard earned money.

Historic, predictable, dark and sexy would be the most accurate way to describe Richard's. Enjoy.

Excellent prime rib and the salmon was cooked to perfection, i would strongly recommend eating at this place.

Was not bad at all definitely left full and everything was cooked right and plenty of stuff to eat in the 6 different parts of the meal. Wish I could put 4.5 because 5 would be perfect and not many are perfect.

Called yesterday at 530pm to place a to-go order for a single item and was told that I'd have to wait until 8pm before placing order. What an absolute joke! Lost customers. Will take our business elsewhere to a better steakhouse that actually wants it.
