Service was great. Food was bland and tasteless. Very disappointed.
Chips they set out on the table were fresh and salted well though.
Hosted my daughters baby shower. Staff was courteous and pleasant. Their food was delicious and was kept warm the whole time. Will definitely do more parties here.

Sals food is great (Selma location) the service is also great! (Selma location) myself and 6 class mates had the privilege of being severed by Mr. Sal himself back in the day, (60s)we were short $2.00 on our bill - he let us slide on it. Great man but the Fresno location on alluvial / Fresno st. (not) especially take out orders we tried placing a order after leaving table mountain, wife was placed on hold
She continued to hold ! All the way Till we drove up to the restaurant and went inside to place our order in person, this is No baloney! This happened about 6 months ago.
Today bam 💥 we tried placing a takeout order my wife was put on holding for 11 minutes 3 seconds, so I decided to call on my phone first ring they answer. My wife was still holding they tried apologizing for the hold time. I said never mind we’re doing Chinese! I am done with take out at his place!
First time for my husband and I to eat here. The last time we went out for Mexican food was a disaster meal-wise, so we were hungry for some good food. We hit the jackpot here! We both ordered the same thing, which was a combo with three items (relleno, cheese enchilada and a taco), with good portions of delicious rice and beans. I like that their refried beans are not some tasteless paste or puree. I appreciate that many of the beans were left whole, and the seasoning was perfect. The rice was fluffy and not pale and tasteless. I also liked that the relleno was more like how I make my own, and not piled sky-high and smothered with toppings. Just a little sauce. The taco was very good; we had the shredded beef ones. Nice taco shell, not too soft and not too crunchy. The enchilada was made with a kind of cheese I have had before, but if you are not careful when you chew or swallow, I can see it being a slight choking hazard. It is very stringy and stretchy, yet somewhat firm and not likely to melt any further. I do not know what that particular cheese is called. Tastes good, you just have to be careful. I am more used to enchiladas made with a Colby/jack blend, but that's just me. The meal portions are VERY generous, so be prepared to get a take-home box, unless you are absolutely starving. We ordered strawberry lemonade and raspberry tea, both VERY good, and large. Wait staff was extremely upbeat, friendly, prompt, attentive and efficient. The booths were modern, generous size and comfy. Restrooms were very very clean, with no shortage of paper towels, hand soap or toilet tissue. No graffiti, no mess. We are already planning what to order next time we visit! It gets busy at noon, so maybe get there around 11.
This has been our go-to restaurant for 20+ years. Service is always very good and the chips and salsa my favorite. It was a very busy night and there were lots of large groups but the staff still made sure we were well cared for. Niko was super friendly and took really good care of keeping our water and chips full. James was our waiter and very attentive as well. Food is very authentic! Best in the Valley!
Always excellent food and service! Alma was super!!!

We ordered the best green wet burrito we've ever had. Reminds us of our childhood mexican restaurant but even better! The Asada was flavorful and the green sauce was perfect! Awesome customer service. Very clean and love the atmosphere. Thank you!

This place should be called Salt's Mexican Restaurant, because every meal I've ever ordered has way too much salt. Also, if you want to avoid high blood pressure, your kidneys failing, and Type 2 diabetes this definitely wouldn't be the place to go. They use very low quality meats and cover it up by overly salting the food. Restaurants like these are destroying the health of the community.

Food was good, service was good. Bad thing I got a hair in every single thing I ordered. My water had a hair... my alcoholic beverage had a hair and my food had a hair! We sat down in the bar area n our server had a beard and all the little hairs I was getting it was from him!! I will never return to this place
