My husband and I came to this location 2nd to last day it was going to close. They'll only have the Clovis location open. Anyways, we had a nice chat with the owner and he was so awesome. The environment was welcoming and the food was delicious. We enjoyed every moment of it and we will be visiting the other location. We wish nothing but the best. And as always, support local small businesses.
Everything I've tried has been delicious. Pop chicken is a must, the miso is amazing, the sushi is so good, the udon, the spicy chicken... everything. no misses.
We went yesterday for dinner. For a Friday night we were the only people in the place, which was kind of surprising. But after we got the food I kind of understood why. The sushi was decent. It wasn’t the worst I’ve had, and definitely not the best. Im not sure why the reviews are so high, because it was pretty lackluster. The servers were really nice though. What really made upset was the fact that we paid $12 for an instant udon soup that I could easily get at Costco. I’m pretty sure they sell those at Costco as a 6 pack. When I order udon from a restaurant, I’m expecting actual udon. Not an instant udon thing that you add boiling water to and then serve to someone. It was honestly shocking as I’m pretty sure you can’t resell those things. So anyways we will not be coming back for the overly priced average sushi and fake udon.
Sushi was delicious however this restaurant, no longer does all you can eat so it is extremely expensive.
Wonderful food, great people nice and calm. TV good movie. Just a hole different place, then the others. They care about what your experience is they explain the dish to you if you're not sure of something they'll even help you pick something if you're not sure it's very very nice
This is the go to spot when I meet my wife for lunch. The food never disappoints. I've had several different sushi rolls and bento boxes. All have been delicious and the staff is awesome. Always polite and helpful. This place is great all around.
Got the party tray for my birthday, extremely disappointing! The sushi rice was almost rock hard, tasted like it was days old. All the rolls were bland, I've had more flavorful sushi from the supermarket. Would absolutely not recommend this place, dinner was ruined!
The roll was good yet small and dry. The service was quick enough for lunch but the $$.#Dragon Queen
I get a salmon teriyaki bowl once a week from Sashimi, and every time I pick up my order I am greeted by everyone in the restaurant with smiling faces and hellos. Incredible service, and the ingredients always seem to be fresh and high quality! Highly recommend. The sushi made here is also the top competitor in the area!
Very friendly staff. Sushi was fresh. I had the small 5 piece rainbow roll

Not a great experience… won’t be backPlace was empty around the lunch hour … my first sign something wasn’t rightSalmon sashimi was paper thin and tasted fishyCrunch roll that I requested with soy paper instead they did delivered with seaweed paperThe salmon nigiri was a big hunk of rice with a paper thin slice of salmon again. The wasabi was a dot - had to ask for moreTempura sauce she said she had to make a new batch as what she was going to give me was just too weak … not sure why she brought the original stuff then if she knew it was a challengeSalad was drenched unlike a peanut sauceLemon for the water they had frozen so it was all soggyThe gal checking out customers was hyper/fast talker one couldn’t understand most of what she said … nice but dang …
We stopped here for a quick lunch. When we walked in, it smelled like insence, which is incredibly confusing when you're expecting to dine. Eating is a multisensory experience, and it was confusing and weird to smell what smelled like someone's room when we walked in. My suspicion was verified when we heard the staff going on about how excited they were that it smelled like a temple. They discussed the desire to buy more for continued use. I'm not sure the owner is aware, but they should be. It's very intrusive to the dining experience. It also made me weary of the cleanliness of the place, which I questioned upon visual inspection of the space already. I opted not to have sushi and eat a chicken bento box because I felt it was safest in terms of potentially getting sick from this place. It was okay. It was like something I could buy at the market and heat in the microwave at home.I think this place could do better with the simplest of adjustments. Cleanliness needs improvement (the tables didn't seem to be wiped down), which was a red flag to begin with. The one plus is that the staff were friendly. I won't be returning though.
Overpriced! I had 8 piece basic California roll for $13+tax At lunch! No complaints about the roll just feel like the prices at this place is pricey. Please update your website to show exact menu prices.
Didn't like that they served our food in take out tins and paper plates. Service was good but the chef seemd mean towards the staff. On a good note the portions of sashimi were huge compared to other restaurants.
Went in for a lil dinner in a tired night and had a wonderful time. The shorter employee with the dyed hair and gauges was AWESOME! Really good menu reccomendations and attentive service. The selection is ???? and even their cooled roles are amazing and I usually don't go for the cooked ones.Wonderful atmosphere!
