One of the few (if not only) Peruvian restaurants in Fresno, Señor Aji delivers bold, unforgettable flavors from both land and sea. My friends and I came hungry and left impressed—and almost too full.

2️⃣ Lomo Saltado – Stir-fried beef sirloin, tender and flavorful with a satisfying mix of onions, tomatoes, and fries.

Although I didn’t get photos of everything (too good to wait!), I highly recommend their skewer and ceviche appetizers. The chicken and beef heart skewers are juicy, well-seasoned, and kissed with smoky charcoal flavor. Their Ceviche Trio—with fresh raw fish and cooked shrimp—is marinated in three different sauces: non-spicy, mild, and spicy. Super fresh and vibrant.

We were already half full after appetizers, but the entrées still held their own—generous, satisfying, and worth finishing. Don’t skip the Chicha Morada, a Peruvian purple corn drink that’s sweet, refreshing, and perfectly balanced.

This was my second time trying Peruvian cuisine, and a huge step up from my first. The food was flavorful, the drinks were refreshing, and the service was warm and attentive. My only gripe: some guests who arrived after me were served more quickly, and the prices are on the higher side. Still, overall a great experience.

I don't understand why people in the food service in the kitchen wear shorts and flipflop it really diminished their image, specifically from people who are familiar with food safety

Delicious unique and authentic food.

My husband and I tried out this restaurant for dinner and were happily surprised. Everything we ordered was outstanding as was the service. Our server happily explained about the dishes. The only negative is that the restaurant was a little warm for my liking. We will definitely return and look forward to trying more new dishes.

LOVE THIS PLACE! The food is always good, and the servers are always attentive, kind, and welcoming. My husband and I have been here a few times, and we almost always get remembered from our last visit, so it is very welcoming and feels nice to have familiarity with the servers. The food is also DELICIOUS! It is consistent and never let's us down.

Wow 😨 we love it! We are from atlanta and was our first time in California. The food is good.
The only thing I don’t like it was la papa a la huancaina it was cold . But the meat and sopa was so good

Increíble place ! We try different dishes and they were delicious I cannot recommend only one ! Everything is well prepared and fresh, definitely one of favorite spots in Fresno

Food for the soul. Absolutely delicious, savory and full of flavor. The ceviche is citrusy, fresh and very clean. The Lomo Saltado is incredible, the meat cooked to perfection, melts in your mouth. The sauce in this dish is so full of flavor combining with the veggies and rice. Definitely coming back here and bringing friends and family.

We visited Señor Ají for the first time a month ago. By far one of the best Peruvian food in California. We returned with all my family , the grandkids enjoyed it so much.👏🏻👏🏻

Just got back from LA, and this restaurant is absolutely at the top of my list. The ceviche trio was perfectly balanced with just the right kick, the aji de gallina tasted like home-cooked meal, and the alfajores were delicious. A solid 10/10 for the chef—from one chef to another!

This was our second time at Señor Ají. The food is absolutely delicious. However, my husband commented on the excessive amount of salt on every dish. I had to admit, the first time we went the seasoning was perfect. Today it was just a bit salty.
