Hey everyone! Today, I tried Smoking Wood Barbecue in Fresno, California, and it was absolutely amazing. I went with the “Three’s a Crowd” plate, which included smoked ribs, grilled chicken thigh, and tri-tip—every bite was packed with flavor. The meal came with a honey roll, baked beans, and mac & cheese, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint.
I’m giving it my official Triple T Approval and a 420 Munchies Stamp of Approval—this spot is a must-try! The portions were just right, the food was delicious, and I’ll definitely be back for more.

I’m giving it such a low rating because I order an uber pick up. I waited 1hr 40 mins just for the cashier to give me attitude and be rude just because I asked when my order was ready. She turns around and says “ doesn’t look ready”. They got 3/4 of my plates so incorrect. They looked at me like it was my fault they got the plates mixed up when I told them about it. They food is good but it isn’t that good to be waiting that long and to be treated with poor customer service. I order Online and was there before plenty of other customers. You guys need a lot to work on. My first and last time here.

They were out of pulled pork and ribs. Ordered a Tri-tip sandwich with green beans. The BBQ sauce was amazing. Highly recommend the blackberry lemonade.

The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is quite nice, although the speakers are usually bumping music uncomfortably loud in front of the building. The food is above average. Sometimes the brisket can be overcooked, and they tend to put loads of black pepper on almost everything.
Unfortunately, although I've ordered from here about 6 times, I won't be ordering again. Out of 6 times, they've only gotten my order completely correct, with no issues, ONCE.
They are in dire need of a better ordering system. They won't take your order by phone, only online. No matter what you order, they are guaranteed to be out of something you picked, but there's never any indication of what they don't have. I complained about it once, and they said to call ahead and ask what they're out of at that time (they want me to call them, but they don't want to take my order on the phone - What's up with that?) So anyway, I called ahead next time, and still, they were out of the item I picked, even though they failed to mention it on the phone.
They will either give you one sauce or many more than you wanted. Paying for extra sauce online seems to have no bearing on what they actually give you.
This last time I ordered through them, they forgot more than one item that I ordered. I give up. It's a shame. If they would tighten up in a couple of areas, it could be a really nice place.

I drove from Vallejo to try this place and boy was I disappointed. starting with the 90$ meal, the meat was so dry I could not even eat it
The pulled pork tasted like sawdust, the ribs were dry,and the brisket and tri tip are horrible. the potato salad was very loose, and the green beans were burnt, had I lived in the area I would have brought it all back. fix the issues word of mouth can truly hurt your business. because I am writing this review on multiple sights.
