We just found our new favorite restaurant! Stephen and his crew did an awesome job when we visited here for the first time. We had the pork bowl which was flavorful, but the sauces were the highlight. Spicy garden was a creamy sauce of blended cilantro and jalapeños. It was a nice spice but not too hot for most people. I could put this on almost anything. The Vietnamese vinegarette was also very flavorful. We even dunked our baowzers in them.
The baowzers were incredible, they were savory inside with just a touch of sweet on the deep fried outside. We will need to order these everything we come here.
Stephen gave us great recommendations so just ask if you have questions.
The place only four month young and is very new looking and clean. We will be back soon!

Cute Vietnamese cafe with good food, drinks, and service. Very clean and cleverly decorated. Love the theme too. Good tea tea selection and sandwiches. We had shrimp, and charbroiled pork spring rolls. Ingredients were fresh and made to order. We were recommended their sandwiches and that was also delicious. Glad we stopped in on our way home to AZ.

Tried their Cloud9 coffee and it’s honestly the best coffee drink I have ever had; wish I knew about this place sooner. Their sesame pastry which is similar to a croissant was so crispy/flaky and delicious. Coming back again to try their lunch menu items!
Beautiful atmosphere with some good looking foods. The food I orders was their Signature House Vermicelli bowl. Their matcha is hands down one of the best ones in Fresno.
With the service and quality of food, I will definitely come back.
Dietary restrictions: Some of their bowls can be gluten free

Really cute spot! Breakfast banh mi’s were amazing- eggs were super fluffy and the bread with herbed butter was so tasty. Coffees are top notch too!
The breakfast bahn mi’s are out of this world, and the coffee options are amazing. Will be back here a lot!!!!

My husband, daughter, and I have come here a few times now and always happy about the food, coffee, and service. We had a chance to stop by when they just opened and spoke with the people who started the business. It is locally-owned and locally sourced as much as they are able. It is a challenging venture to compete with businesses around that are chain restaurants. Local businesses support the local economy, and it’s impressive to see young Fresnans build courageously, especially in the Riverpark area. The quality of the food and drinks are a reflection of how much intention went into planning the menu and creating them. Kudos and we wish them great success. We will be returning as much as possible.

I am going to be harsh. It is pretentious. It wants to be bougie but it's not. I see people ordering spring rolls that is like stuff with banh mi options. That different for sure. They do have banh mi option which I love. I really wanted to try the pho brisket, it sounded very good and I was willing to overlook the price of $18 for that sandwich versus the other sandwiches which costed $10. But once the gentleman pulled the bread loaf out of the plastic bag, I saw a 6 inch French bread, I quickly said that I'll take the lemongrass chicken instead. I am so glad that I did because that sandwich was so disappointing. As a fan of banh mi's the bread was really gummy. It was toasted but it lacked the crunch. The chicken however was super tasty. They needed to add more spread to help that bread out. I also had the chicken nuggets and fries. This was good and the price matched the food. The nuggets reminded me of Wendy's which is better than McDonald's but the fries were cooked to just right, crispy. There was no wow factor for me. The service was slow and I believe they even forgot my sandwich at one point. From what I saw the drinks are tiny and the cups that they serve the drinks in will make people think that it's cute. I don't buy cute, I buy quality and quantity. I will not be back or recommend

For a "modern Vietnamese grill," the only thing modern is the place.
Pastry items were delicious. Drinks were ok. Bahn mi sandwiches were a huge disappointment.
I tried both the chicken and traditional sandwiches. Chicken was ok. The traditional was just a sandwich with meatloaf, no pate or headcheese. In addition to that, the sandwiches were different sizes.
Will not be going back.

4 stars for service and atmosphere as the place was cute. Food and drinks gets 1.5 stars. We ordered three banh mis to go but realized they were all inconsistent in sizes. One banh mi was visibly smaller than the other two and the other two weren't the same sizes either. Flavor of food was okay but not worth it for being overpriced.
Drinks were also okay but nothing new. There are better food and drinks around the Fresno area that tastes the same or better for much cheaper.

Came here because I saw a news article about this newly opened store. My review may be premature since it is my first time here and only ordered a traditional banh mi. It was OK, presentation was very nice, the staff took time to make the sandwich uniform and looking nice, veggies were fresh, but meat was ok. Service was friendly for a store having only been open for 1 month. I will definitely come back to try their "signature" pho brisket banh mi.
