I was excited to try the soon tofu. But it has a nasty water faucet taste. Same for miso soup. The baked mussels was so tiny. Idk... not like other average muscle. And sushi, honestly ive ate many other restaurants. This one isnt memorable.

Came during lunch. It wasn't as busy as I expected, the service was great and the food came out pretty quickly. The shrimp and veggie tempura was good and the roll I got was ok. Probably just not the best selection on my end but I'll be back to try other things on the menu.

Food not kept at proper temperature, tuna was slimey and smelly. My California roll smells like turned crab as well would not recommend to a friend

Average at best, all things considered - it's Fresno after all, go to the Bay Area/LA/SD for top notch sushi. Protein in rolls were very uneven so some pieces were practically all rice. Decent for a sushi craving if you're attending the university since it's very close but don't expect anything mind blowing.

This is my first time here and my dad said it was good, so I was looking forward to it. There were only two tables in the restaurant, but they made us wait to be seated. Most tables were left dirty, but we ended up being sat at a very large table for two. Service was not very well done, it was one of the family members birthdays, so they were all huddled around a cake that the mother had brought. The girl would occasionally check up on us or deliver food but wasn't too attentive. I'm all about a family establishment but service has to come first. Food was definitely good and I will add it to my list of sushi places that I like to go.

Ordered late grolunch (over $100 before taxes) online for pickup an hour later. Get their on time and they don't have an order under my name. After showing the order confirmation, they told me they never got the order and it will be a 15-25 minute wait. I get they were busy for lunch so I waited. I get my order and decided to double check that all my 8 items were there. They were missing 2 of my items. Had to wait another 10 minutes. (Noticed after leaving tgat we didn't receive the miso soup that came with the 2-iten lunch combo.)Didn't leave much time left to drive back & eat lunch. Food were delicious all around and had plenty of condiments. One of the no-rice rolls had way too much sashimi on top. That one came with soft-shell crabs, but they didn't have an option to order a side of soft shell crabs available online. Maybe will eat in next time or order at a less busy time, but it will be a while before we try this place again.
This is one of my favorite sushi places, with that being said I was very disappointed in my messy rolls that fell apart. I also had a few pieces of uncooked rice and the taste of the baked Alaskan was not the same. It looked very rushed. It was not the sushi I am used to from here. The other rolls were messy but tasted fine. I'm hoping it was a new cook and they need a little time to get the hang of it. The salmon bowl had much better tasting salmon then the roll.

First time trying out this place and I have to say it was just merely ok, the plus side was that staff was really kind and friendly and very attentive but their poki nacho was just ok same with the sushi rolls and korean soup (not shown)

Been here 5 years ago, and was not impressed but that's where everyone wanted to go so went.Glad I went sushi was outstanding and the service was excellent.Talked to the waitress and found out it changed hands a while back. The fish was fresh and the sushi rice was outstanding.The small Salad was huge and the miso soup was delicious. Will be back for sure.

Waitresses are always extremely rude and don’t greet you or try to even attempt to talk to you while you wait for a seat. Always makes it so awkward so I just stopped coming here.
