Easily some of the best Mexican food I've had anywhere. This was my first time there and I got the California Burrito. It came out fast and fresh and carne asada was the most tender and flavorful I've ever had. I usually pour lots of salsa on my Mexican food to enhance the flavor, but their meat was so flavorful on its own that I found myself putting less and less salsa on as I ate so I could taste the full flavor of the meat. The size of the burrito was also large compared to some other places. The owner was also extremely friendly and made sure my experience was just what I was looking for. You can tell he's a happy guy who loves what he does, and what he does is cooks up some bomb Mexican food!

Ok, its no secret that I literally LOVE this food (and everything I’ve eaten is delicious) but I must share my three go to Favs…in no certain order :)- Asada California Burrito: Best Cali Burrito you can find, asada is full of flavor (no fatty or chewy pieces) and fries are fresh and crispy.- Carnitas Tacos: The Carnitas are the perfect amount of crisp and Juicy.- Chile Verde Quesadilla: The Chile Verde sauce is literally thee best and when paired with melted cheese Mmmmmmm!Oh and…You have to try the grilled onions. Proven Fact: Even if you don’t like onions (like me) you will make an exception for these…Sooo freakin Good!

Great owner! Very personable and accommodating. Fantastic food w great flavor. I tried the asada Chile verde and carnitas tacos. They come with lemon grilled onions and made from scratch sauces. Very satisfying overall. Very clean upscale truck. Lots of selections on the menu. Highly recommend.

I've been eating here for a few years.. I worked downtown and ate here everyday.. The Carnitas are my absolute favorite!! So delicious!! I was bummed out when I got another job and could no longer go on my lunch! BUT just recently Taconazo started serving close to my house at the location on clovis ave, I COULDN'T BE HAPPIER!! I can now enjoy my favorite tacos again!! If you haven't tried El Taconazo, I strongly recommend you do!! You won't regret it!!!

I've eaten from this food truck 2 times. The first time was at a catered event, which offered tacos, rice and beans. The food was delicious and the tacos were full of meat. The second time was at Clovis Ave just south of Belmont (at the old Spinos Nursery location). The owner said he would be there from 5:00 to 10:00, everyday and he was also getting other food trucks to join him. Again, the food was delicious, I ordered the California Burrito. This location has tons of covered seating and there is also restroom facilities. Prices are reasonable, food is delicious, and service is fast. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try.

I'm a big fan of their CA burrito, and what sets their asada apart from every other truck: they slightly crisp it, so it's not so chewy but has a bit of a crunch to it and it's - chef's kiss!I also thoroughly enjoy their breakfast burritos, and their red salsa is FIRE. I'm always left highly satisfied after grabbing food downtown, during the work week, and I'm excited that they've got a set spot closer to my home!These guys have been in business and know their stuff! The owner is also incredibly friendly, outgoing and seems to know his repeat customers, which is also awesome!
