Below average tacos — seems like they can't get rid of their lemons every time I order I only receive one single slice of lemon. (Hint of why I have to pick at my own lemon tree to serve myself with some juicy lemons that will satisfy me and my meal) Also, what's really odd about this food truck is that they add ur toppings on the side and not ON your tacos so I'll have to use my own fingers just to add it on since they don't give out utensils. It would be more efficient and considerate of them just to ask if I would like them at all. I personally don't mind greens but Jesus they add more greens then MEAT itself which is just disgrace.
But, As a Hispanic that's pretty disrespectful especially because the sauces are meant to be spicy..

It's fine. Asada burrito is on the smaller side, especially for the price. Carnitas was good. They were incredibly nice and had great service.

I ordered a California burrito and it was delicious. I didn’t see it on the menu but this place popped up when i searched for ”California burrito”. Either way it was awesome and satisfied my craving for this burrito. Good service and food all around.

Taco tent just outside Mendota city limits.Wow great tasting tacos de adobada and tripe.I was there around 9:00p. Yet still pretty busy but even though there were 5 people ahead of me 6 people behind me.Nice selection of condiments with soda can or Jamaica and rice water or water.Glad I ate there definitely going back .

Best carnitas tacos I've had in a long time!!! I've visited about 3 different trucks in fresno that had disappointing flavors. Definitely check this place out. Fire !!!

The best tacos I have had in my life. Me and my bf go to so many Mexican food places and it’s nothing like this. The service was great, fast and they were really kind. They gave us a free drink for waiting and were really accommodating. It honestly exceeded the expectations I didn't know I had. Full of flavor and everything. Definitely am going to come again and I would recommend everyone to come here!
They catered a wedding this evening! Food was excellent, but the customer service lacked professionalism! It took forever for everyone to get their food! The rice and beans served with the tacos were extremely small portions! Cmon folks, we know you made $!

Omg I’ve never had Mexican food this bad. The carne asada burrito I ordered had what looked like fried rice in it with the toughest, chewiest beef in it. To make things worse the salsa that came with it tasted fermented. Everything was just so gross. Should’ve gone to my usual spot on Herndon and 99.

California Tacos hit it out of the park! From the moment I walked in, the nostalgic atmosphere and the sound of Selena's music set the tone for a fantastic experience. Not only did I enjoy a delicious burrito, but the complimentary cup of soup from the friendly staff sealed the deal. I couldn't resist trying their chicken soup too, and both dishes were absolutely outstanding. If you're in the Central Valley and craving authentic Mexican food, California Tacos is a must-visit. They easily score a perfect 10 out of 10 in my book!

Went there with a friend who was treating me to lunch. We got three shrimp tacos and one carnitas and two chicken soups! Eat the tacos and saved the soup for later! Tacos ok but the chicken soup was horrible! They took canned veggies- veg all out the can and boiled chicken as their soup! No real chicken flavor. How hard is it to make a real chicken soup! I can’t recommend this place to anyone! I had high hopes!
