We had them carter for our event for 100 people. Paid more than 1k and the mom and daughter had ugly attitudes. Bad service. Said they were out of meat and left half way through our event because they served 100 people and not everyone had arrived. Crazy they brought tiny little buckets of meat there was not a lot of meat. They served tiny amounts of meat in the tacos. Never again.

nice))
We came because we saw the lights and the sign that said handmade tortillas. We were excited. However, we were shocked when we saw the "cooks" cut a whole into a regular grocery bag and extrude cooked meat from the bag to warm it up for our burrito and tacos. I thought maybe we saw wrong, but not even a minute later we saw them pull out another grocery bag, not a container or ziplock, a levite GROCERY BAG, AND POKE A HOLE IT IN AND SQUEEZE OUT some meat for our torta. We came during closing so then we saw them storing the left over meat to use again in grocery bags. We started wondering if our meat had been stored in those bags for days. This place could have so much potential. It the hygiene will stop us from returning anytime soon.
Lady was very rude!! Carne asada looked like hamburger meat. I signed a contract for the taco truck to serve food between 5-8 the 3 hour maximum. The lady decided to leave at 7:30 cuz she arrived early. Her arrival time was to be at 4:30, set up for 30 minutes and serve between 5-8. First time ever getting a taco truck for a party. Worst experience ever. Not worth it at all.
I do not recommend Taquizas Hernandez. We got the special 3 meats hotdogs quesadillas and 3 aguas for $450. Asada was gross it tasted like it was boiled. Carnitas was boiled and pretty much all fat. El Pastor was the same all fat. Rice was dry like old rice. We got the 50 people special and had 30 people. Somehow we ended up with only a cup of asada left. The special included 25 quesadillas. We were told we had ran out of flour tortillas which meant they had made exactly 25 quesadillas. About 10 minutes later we found 8 flour tortillas in the garbage. They came earlier then the contract and wanted to leave before the contract started. Had to call Mario to discuss the contract so he could tell his sister. The worst taquizas I had and everybody at the party agreed. Please don’t waste your money.
