I never thought a place like this would have horrible service. I went during the week with my mother and our waitress took long to take our order, and food was taking long their was only 2 tables so it shouldn't take long. Once we received our food she never checked up on us until it was her time to leave so we can give her a tip. I later on was looking for someone to give me a cup to go for my caldo and they were ignoring us or chatting ‍ I asked this older lady that is a server and she said yes but took her time and brought drinks for her tables . Please work on service because it was definitely not the best. Tacos Tijuana on Belmont were very much friendly and great service then here

I used to live on the South side of Fresno 1 mile away from Tacos Tj on Kingscanyon and for years it was my go to for tacos. I've known this place has been open for a while but never got the chance to go. My husband was craving a camarones plate and every time we go out to get some he's always been so disappointed. So we decided to come here. Large dinning we were greeted as we entered, clean and very loud music playing. We were told to sit anywhere. Got our orders taken right away. I ordered 3 asada tacos with rice and beans, asada quesadilla for our daughter and my husband ordered his camarones plate. Took about 10min to get our food each one came a few mins after eachother. The rice and beans, delicious per usual. The asada meat was a bit hard but the flavors were on point. The quesadilla was a bit on the greasy side but the cheese was good. My husband also enjoyed his camarones plate (finally). The service was great in the beginning, no checked on us again until we were literally all done. Overall the food was pretty good.

We used to come here all the time but unfortunately this is going to be the last time we visit. The service is always horrible! They are understaffed and nothing has been done about it. The chili verde sauce tasted like it came out of a can, there was a lot of grisel on the taco meat, and the cheese inside the enchiladas wasn't even melted. The wait staff never tended to our needs, except they refilled my drink once. Our past few experiences here haven't been good due to the quality of service, but now that the food is becoming as bad as their service we have to call it quits for this location.

Came here before closing on a Tuesday night and had a great experience. Got seated and greeted right away. Staff were super friendly and helpful with questions about the menu. The ambiance here is exactly what we wanted (music playing in the speakers around the entire restaurant, beers, family & fun). The food was all super good and flavorful! The complimentary chips and salsa were super yummy (salsa was actually a tad bit spicy not just tomato), the chicken enchiladas were dense in flavor and super filling! The only critique for the enchiladas and reason for a 4/5 is the salsa that goes over the enchiladas tasted a lot like tomato (which some people love & prefer- we just don't, but they were still superrrr good). The rice & beans were chefs kiss!!! So so good. The ceviche was fresh and super lemony (like we like it) and the tostadas that were given with the ceviche were so crunchy and delicious too. We came here because it was open late night (we'd never heard of this place before), but I am so glad that we did. I'll definitely be back! 4/5.

Best Mexican Restaurant in the Fresno area, has been for years. This is coming from a Fresno native. The customer service is on point and the restaurants are all kept clean and tidy. As for The cuisine it self they have it all from the usual Tacos, Burritos, Enchiladas, Fajitas to all the seafood favorites Ceviche, Shrimps cocktails, Aguachile, Garlic Shrimp, Seafood Caldos and your favorite grandmas Caldo de Pollo and Caldo de Res. For those weekends where you drank a little too much, they got you covered with One of the Best Menudos in town. Add a Michelada (also one of the best in town) to your Menudo and you will be back in health in no time. 5 Stars all around. Ps. To my northern Fresno residents, don't be afraid to come down south of the border (Herndon) and try some authentic Mexican cuisine.

Came here for dinner on a Sunday. It was crowded with a short wait. Said they served menudo on Sundays but they didn't have it. We ordered albondigas and caldo de rez. Came with a plate of rice, cilantro and onion. Both had good flavor. Service and ambiance were fine. Large parking lot.

We had them carter for our event for 100 people. Paid more than 1k and the mom and daughter had ugly attitudes. Bad service. Said they were out of meat and left half way through our event because they served 100 people and not everyone had arrived. Crazy they brought tiny little buckets of meat there was not a lot of meat. They served tiny amounts of meat in the tacos. Never again.

This restaurant deserves a 0. I bought floutas for to go and they had dish soap in it!! I spent $40+! I will never come back to this restaurant! I have had some bad experiences with them in the past but it was minimal things until I tasted DISH SOAP ON MY FLOUTAS!! Dish soap is poison!!! I know you guys are trying to keep it clean but not on the FOOD!!! I came here every week or so. Now I've tasted the soap you guys use! This is the last straw! When I came back and return them I didn't even get an apology from the manager. She was right there!! She didn't even tell me sorry! I am in customer service and she didn't even care. I've seen there true colors! If you don't apologize about the food that shows you're true colors!! Sorry I won't be coming back. Mark my words! I will spread the news!

This place has good food BUT The people who work here are Rude af. They really give off the vibe that if you are not Mexican they'd rather not have you there. Speaking Spanish to eachother and laughing in the face of customers not knowing that Some who are not Hispanic actually speak the language and know that you guys are talking much crap. I would NOT RECOMMEND this restaurant to anyone. We are living in 2023 there is absolutely NO ROOM FOR PREJUDICE in such a diverse State and world. Shame on these employees here at this restaurant.if you would rather only your people eat here then post a sign and take the backlash that you'll receive because at this point the behavior is the equivalent

Bad experience walked In didn't even get acknowledged until a Mexican couple came In. They got seated first our order was taken, then our food was as done and was there on the counter for more than 10 minutes, there was the girls there standing around up at the front didn't bother to ask what table that food goes to , they were standing, talking. Our waitress was busy with other tables. Finally got our food it was not even hot it was warm cold and over cooked it was burnt. When we were done we checked out and told the front girl that our food was cold and meat was burnt she told the cook in the back in Spanish and he said oh well and they both laughed. Not knowing I do know Spanish I told her she was rude and very disrespectful for you being in a restaurant customer service is the number one key for us to keep coming back. We will not be coming back here..!

I love this place for their ceviche tostada and shrimp cocktail. That's all I would ever order. The shrimp a la diabla was very delicious. I finally decided to try something new, I gave the albóndigas a try. They were not good at all, the flavor was completely off. I ate the meatballs and had to pay for rice on the side. Typically authentic Mexican places give you a side of rice to put in your soup. I was very disappointed to say the least. Depending on how busy they are, service varies. The staff has always been very friendly and quick. There's times where it's obviously they're understaffed. Overall I'm definitely going back and I'll be ordering my usual.

Nice place, big area and plenty of tables to chose from, on blackstone in central fresno so be weary of the area with your vehicle.food was good, much to choose from on the menu, would recommend to people when looking for asada tacos, also the salsa was yummy.
