Weekend morning tacos. Thats what we wanted. Finally tried Chalio's! Pretty early for a weekend. Not too much activity but it seems like we missed the party the night before! Swisher wrappers and tobacco remnants left on the table outside. But a good observation patio for those people-watching if you're into that sort of thing (which we are!). Cute string light hanging up offering some ambience. Inside was clean and quite a lot of seating for a smaller place. We ordered two breakfast burritos w/ham and one carnita taco con todo. Pretty small operation with about 4-5 people each doing something different behind the scenes. Considering there was one other couple there when we walked in and two people came in to pick up their orders, we did wait quite a while. Maybe 15-20min. We ordered to go so when we got home (5min away) we were ready! First up, the carnita taco. Off the bat, I noticed it was not greasy or fatty. The tortillas were dipped in a consumé (I'm guessing) and the meat on top. "Con todo" means cilantro and onion. And lemon on the side. The taco was $3.75. A little pricey at first thought but I'll be honest, the taco was packed with meat and pretty filling. Could just be me, but I think I was missing that extra bit of fatty flavor in the carnitas but it was in no way dry! I forgot all about the salsa and truthfully, it didn't need it! The lemon was perfect! Next, Hubby and I had our breakfast burritos but we only ate one! They're pretty big! And packed! What I loved the best about this $11-$12 burrito was each bite had everything in it! Eggs, ham, Jack cheese, potatoes and beans. But man, was that tortilla struggling to hold everything together! I'm assuming because of the ham and cheese, the burrito was a little on the greasy side. I know, but it's not the same as a carnita taco! Hubby and I split this burrito and called it a day. We were stuffed! Very difficult to decide between the red and green sauces. The green was mild and tart while the red was spicy and tart. Both flavors were really good! And both tasted good on the burrito. The next day we tore into the second burrito but I grilled it on the comàl first. And it held up perfectly. Still flavor-packed! For a 24hr spot we drive by daily, we will definitely be back. What would make this 5 stars for me is to grill the burrito and offer a chunky salsa.

A little pricier than other places and they're open 24 hours so sometimes if you go in late their rice dries out a little but their food is good. Good portions, delicious flavor, good variety and I think they have a burger on the menu for those picky eaters in your life. Very typical taco shop for the area, always a little hot and kinda rundown but well taken care of and the staff is super friendly and nice and that goes a long way.

This place is a hole in the wall and is easily missed, but we found it on a whim, and it is delicious. My kids absolutely love the burritos and quesadillas, but I personally love the tacos. The horchata is home made.

I would say the ambiance is that of an old Taco Bell with a taqueria twist. The service was great. The food was also pretty good. I still prefer El Grullo in Lemoore but this place is good and stays open late which is nice. The carne asada taco was really old here.

For 4.4 stars this place I thought was a going to be a great tasting place we got there and ordered different tortillas where being used not the ones advertised order was incorrect I asked for everything except onions got plain smaller tacos than what orders where going out. Honestly take your chances on the street tacos just anywhere but here if you’re looking for simple carne asada tacos. Only ate one taco each taco was 3.75
