I recently placed a pickup order and was blown away. The burgers and fries were absolutely delicious. The fries had a seasoning that was next level, they were crispy and flavorful. The coleslaw was amazing as well.

I also tried their chili and it was loaded with meat. It’s exactly the kind of hearty chili I love.

If you’re in Fresno and looking for a burger spot that delivers on flavor Take 3 x Grumpy Burger Lady’s will not disappoint.

Take 3 X Grumpy Burger Lady's is fantastic place to eat on Fulton. The owner is not actually grumpy! She is friendly and greets customers with enthusiastic warmth. The restaurant decor is a perfect burger joint vibe, and it feels like community when I am there. The Grumpy Burger is deliciously simple. There are other, fancier burgers. But so far, the Grumpy is my go-to! People: do not sleep on Downtown Fresno!

The Marilyn Monroe Burger was amazing! The pineapple blended the beef with the cheese well, and the chilli brought it together amazingly, with the burger smushed style along with the extra chilli made the fries delicious!

Definitely one of my top burger restaurants. Bernie Mac Slap is a must try. Would definitely be going again.

My brother and I decided to give this place a try after walking past it awhile ago while it was still under construction. Forgot about it until ABC ran a story on them and knew we had to go.

Well we finally got around to it on Thursday the 29th and damn. The Grumpy Lady was the exact opposite, she was welcoming and joyous.

I ordered the Smushed Marylin Monroe without the pineapple. It wasn't just a smash burger where the pattie is pressed, the bun and cheese went were pressed down and smothered in their freshly made chili.

The patty was very nicely seasoned and perfectly cooked. The chili had a consistency of sloppy Joe mix with chili seasoning, which fitted amazingly well on this compacted cheeseburger.

I will definitely be coming back and making sure I put that chili on everything I get.

Tried this place on a whim, so glad I did! Burgers were so fresh and well made. Ingredients were great, flavors were awesome, you could tell they cared about their product. Customer service was very accommodating, the guys were super nice. Will 100% be back!! Please give them a shot, you won’t be disappointed!!

Yummy 😋.... Nice hidden 💎 gem! The vibe in the place is 😎 cool. Yes, it's downtown. Take your time to find parking and enjoy a friendly staff and delicious hamburgers and fries 🍟. This not a place for people on a diet! Eat like a carnivore!! 😆 jk jk kinda

Finally tried this place and it did NOT disappoint!!! My smash burger was delicious! I’ve never had one with SO much flavor. I had the sweet teriyaki burger and I’d never tried anything like it very tasty and juicy! Fries were fresh with a nice crunch.

This place does a really good burger. Unfortunately the fries are just ok. Will be back to try more menu items. This is a great option if you are already in downtown Fresno. Parking in the area is getting better but still limited during the week.

If you're looking for a burger place that gets it right, this place is a must-visit! From the moment we walked in, the service was top-notch—very friendly and attentive . Hands down, some of the best fries I’ve ever had—crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and seasoned to perfection. It's clear they take pride in every detail, from the food to the service. Can’t wait to come back again and again! I give them my highest recommendation !
