ANGEL took my phone order. I recognized Angel's voice! It has been awhile so I was delighted when Angel greeted me when I was paying for my food. Angel asked how I was doing because it had been awhile. Angel so personable and a great smile. Wednesday Daily Special - Chicken & Teriyaki Beef fantastic. Beef cooked to order. Chicken Breast Strips moist and tender. A wonderful meal!

I used to love this place. Everytime I go and visit my Mom I bring food back to my family here in the Bay Area. My husband had a work assignment and picked up food today (Crispy Chicken Dinners) - he drove all the way home and saw there was no white sauce for which he loves, only the teriyaki sauce. In addition there was barely any on the salad. He called the restaurant to ask and was told they don’t add white sauce to order and it’s an add on. My husband was not aware and advised that the location in Merced added the sauce without him asking. The person helping him seem devoid of any empathy even though we live over two hours away. My advice is to offer these things to your customer because only your regulars will be aware of this. So disappointing :-(

Not sure what teriyaki donnea going through today but the food made my bf so very sick. I'm hoping in the future their ingredients are back to where they were when I used to go a lot. Keep progressing. Love it!

I used to love this place and since I don’t live near it anymore I decided to grab some while i was in the area. I got my old go to spicy crispy teriyaki chicken and it feels like they use half the amount of chicken and twice the batter that they used to give you. I get it the economy sucks but I ended up with a stomach ache for the rest of my day and then it ended with my face in the toilet. My roommate got the same order as me and also felt sick. It’s sad this place isn’t what it used to be and after this experience I won’t be back.

I went to eat there yesterday after not visiting for a while, and I must say, the place is totally different! I’m not sure if there are new owners, but half of the restaurant's seating is gone, leaving just an empty space with one bench seat for takeout customers. The remaining seating is minimal, with one booth reserved for staff in an already limited seating area.
The food portions were noticeably smaller than before. I opted for extra rice instead of salad on my spicy chicken plate, but it looked like they just smashed the rice down and spread it out to fill the salad portion. The teriyaki sauce was so watered down that I had to drown my bowl in it just to get some flavor! On top of that, the place had a messy, unkempt feel.
I definitely won’t be going back! But don’t just take my word for it—you can check it out yourself. Don’t say I didn’t warn you!

Hey everyone! I just tried Teriyaki Don and ordered the Yaki Udon Pan-Fried Chicken Noodles, along with the Spicy Chicken with Rice and Salad. Everything was absolutely delicious—so flavorful and cooked to perfection!

Ordered online, lunch special rice bowl says comes with 2 gyoza and a soft drink. This is not true at all. I did not get the 2 gyoza OR a drink. I substituted "steam" broccoli instead of salad. Broccoli came out of the refrigerator, no steam. All chicken was over cooked. Likely won't try this place again.

My Son while Visiting me from the Bay area Discovered this place in Fresno and came home with #17 Absolute Favorite So Everytime I run Errands in that area The First thing I do is go to My Favorite Place Now!!
