I ordered The Number One at Pickle Deli thinking, “Okay, it’s a sandwich, how life-changing can it be?” Wrong. I was humbled.
This thing shows up stacked with turkey, avocado, sprouts, tomato, cream cheese, and mustard on Dutch crunch bread that could legally be classified as a personality trait. The crunch? Aggressive. The inside? Soft, creamy, fresh, and perfectly balanced like it went to therapy.
The cream cheese + mustard combo had no business working this well, yet here we are. The avocado was ripe (a miracle in itself), the sprouts made me feel briefly health-conscious, and the turkey was generous enough to make other sandwiches insecure.
By the time I finished, I was full, happy, and seriously questioning why I ever order anything else anywhere. This sandwich didn’t just feed me — it set a new standard.
If you’re in Clovis and don’t order the #1 at Pickle Deli, that’s fine… but just know you’re choosing the wrong path. 🥪👏

Did you know there’s coffee here?!? I went in for lunch and got a sandwich. But I saw the parlor and decided to try a coffee as well. IT IS SO GOOD!!! I found out they use kuppa joy beans, but their menu is top notch. If you love coffee I totally recommend their coffee!!

Stopped by The Pickled Deli inside the Peacock Market in Clovis and was seriously impressed. I got the pastrami sando, French dip, and fried pickles — everything was fresh, packed with flavor, and served hot.
Nick, the owner, is a veteran and fellow Buchanan alum — super genuine guy who clearly takes pride in what he does. You can tell he really enjoys serving the community and connecting with his customers. The place is spotless too, which says a lot about how much care they put into running their business.
If you miss the way OG Deli D made their sandos, this place will hit the spot. I’ll definitely be back.

Located in the peacock market. The sandwiches were really good. The sourdough and Dutch crunch breads were great. They put a lot of meat and toppings on the sandwich. My wife and I really enjoy all the spots in the peacock market.
Nick was really friendly and cares about what they provide. He's a local guy and it shows.

How difficult could it be to make a salad. I ordered a chef's salad and then got a salad, with is pickles and onions thats it. Then, to have the employees ask you, what goes on Your salad is totally unprofessional and shows lack of training. The owner or manager, whoever he is needs to focus more on his employees instead of phone calls and chit chatting with people all throughout the store about his recent divorce. This location needs to do better. Definitely not returning.

Selena provided great customer service. We had sandwiches, chai tea and Thrifty Ice Cream. The Chai tea had a lot of flavor and was a good size and not all ice. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely love this coffee. I was an avid Starbucks drinker and the Parlor trumps their coffee 110% The Parlor is my daily go to coffee spot now. They know my drink order as soon as they see me, my husband or son. Selena makes my coffee perfect every time and all the employees are always friendly.
