Last time I was there was at the old location before the fire. This new spot..nothing has changed! Felt the same. Great food and man…did I replace some memories. 😉 please support a great local restaurant and eat amazing food. the staff there is so well loved and it is like a ballet the way the staff greets, gets water, delivers food and busses tables. Well done guys.

Super friendly and welcoming staff, has the complete train theme inside. This place gets packed and had to wait for 20 min to get a table for breakfast. Omelettes were spot on and the best I ve had in recent times, however their house potatoes and biscuits were average comparable to other chain breakfast places…

Tried to order for pick up @ 12:59 on Saturday 07/19/25
- I asked to place a pick up order very politely, the lady threw me on hold instantly & rudely while saying “WAIT!” She proceeds to answer & ask “what can I get for you” I said “I’d like an order of the biscuits & gravy… the middle engineer”
Before I even got the word “middle” out of my mouth she RUDELY cut me off & said “ONE BISCUIT?! TWO BISCUITS?! THREE BISCUITS?!?!?”
I took a second because WHO IS SHE TALKING TO??????
I yelled back at her “MIDDLE ENGINEER! I just said that”
She said “oh okay”
So I said never mind & hung up.
I will take my business elsewhere.

Our first visit. So many delicious choices. I enjoyed the Bill's omelet with biscuits and gravy. My husband and friend Gerry had a huge blue berry pancake topped with whipped cream and blueberry compote. My grandson had the eggs Benedict. Everyone was full and very pleased with their meal selection. We want to go back and try more of the other Train Depots delicious menu items. The staff was very friendly and helpful!

order the country fried steak, it came with no gravy on it at all. instead whoever seem to be back there cooking thought itd be funny if they'd just put gravy on the biscuits. because you dont need gravy on country fried steak do you.

Half the restaurant Empty but we had to wait outside in 103 great for 10 minutes for a table. Seated right under a vent with no air coming out.. really no AC in Fresno heat? Drink order to 10 minutes... We all needed refills by the time we got to order.... Literally throw up in parking lot due to heat right after we ate. Many good experiences but not this time. Don't go in summer or at last few hours of shift..... You'll be forgotten, cleaning takes priority

They nailed the Train Depot vibe, and the food was just as you would expect from a local diner featuring a theme. Excellent!
The food was tasty. Had that home-cooked appearance. The pancakes were fluffy. The kilbasa sausage was delicious. Eggs and potatoes cooked to perfection. Atmosphere was okay. I think my only reason for giving this place a 4 out 5 stars was the something about the guy that greeted us at the door. He just didn't give me that sense of being welcomed that one would expect from the first face you meet , your first time at a restaurant. But I won't let that stop me from going back in the future.
