I ordered take out for work (lunch hour). Was told it would take 30-40 minutes. It ended up taking 65 minutes. I understand large orders do take a while but I was frustrated because I got back to work late and didn’t even get to eat my lunch. They were apologetic which I appreciated. Just wish they could more or less give an accurate time. My coworkers were pleased with the taste of the food

Had lunch here today the waiter sat and greeted us quick ! Everyone was nice even the chefs said hello the food came out quick ! We had the sashimi 9 pieces which was great and tasted fresh, also the Snow White roll was 8/10 and the miso soup was great. I would definitely return, I would say the only con was finding parking but that’s everywhere in Downtown Fresno :(

I don't know what's happened to this place, but I just ordered the same item that I get all the time when I eat here... Booty Tempura.
I don't know if they were having a bad day, but this was not the same item that I usually receive. The roll was badly overcooked, so much pepper was sprinkled on the roll that I was surprised when I bit into it, and I was just disappointed. Not what I was used to for a $20+ roll.
There's another spot on the Fulton Mall that I haven't had any issues with, so I will just start going there.

If I can put 0 stars I would! They close a whole hour before what they have listed. If you don’t want to work then just say that or update the time that you are actually opened! Unprofessional.

Fresno isn't known for its sushi or seafood, but Umi Sushi really delivers some great tasting food.
We came for dinner on a Monday and got seated immediately, got drinks quickly, and when we got our food, it was fantastic. I got a Dragon Roll, a Rainbow Roll, and a couple of nigiri and the rolls were great and quite large (don't order too many) and the Chirashi Bowl had a lot of really tasty sashimi in it.
If you're in the mood for sushi, definitely consider Umi Sushi!

This place is a hidden sushi gym in downtown Fresno. Most of their clientele comes from the lunch crowd, but they’re also open for dinner during the week. This is some of the best sushi I’ve had in Fresno. Try their special miso soup and Green Hunter Fresno sushi roll.
