Veni Vidi Vici use to be one of my favorite places, but these past two times I've attempted to go I have had negative experiences. :( Both times I was approached by the same older gentleman letting me and my friend know that the kitchen is closed by 8pm and that we should not order anything. The first time I didn't even make it inside the building before he came outside to inform us the place was closing down early and the second time he approached us at the door and told us, "kitchen is closed". I still would've had a glass of wine or a small appetizer, but the tone of his message almost felt like he did not want us there. It really felt unwelcoming as a customer and I would not recommend coming here again if you want to eat something after 8:00pm.

Very nice evening with Nikki as our server. He did a great job. My pork chop was fabulous. Very tasty! My man and I had not been here for a while. Hasn't changed. Still great food, great drinks and great service.

While the food turned out to be pretty good, the service was atrocious. Took forever for a server to get our order. Waited 20 minutes for my first drink to arrive. It did not feel inviting nor did I feel welcomed after being seated. I would have rather had decent food and better service than good food with terrible service. There are many more restaurants in Fresno to dine at and do not recommend coming here.

We have been going to Vini’s for years. It’s been a stomping ground for us, even after we moved from Fresno. Tonight, the annual Peter Write Christmas show was at Tower, and we were so excited to share this Fresno staple with dear friends to kick off the holidays.It’s was an epic disappointment. We sat for 1.5 hours, without being served. The waitress…..who wore dirty clothes and a beanie explained the kitchen was backed up.As we decided to leave, because the concert was starting, our food made its way out. We could not eat it obviously.So as we offered to pay for our drinks we had, the manager obnoxiously stated to the host that we refused to wait.This is so disappointing because VVV has always been stellar. It seems like the tide has turned.

Set in the heart of Tower District, I am used to coming here for drinks so it was fun to come for dinner for my friend's birthday. It's a low lit industrialish vibe inside and the bartender/server was attentive. Their menu offerings are clearly thought out and higher end. I got a sausage ravioli that was outstanding. The sauce was rich and the dish filled me up easily with eating only half of it. I would love to go back and try a couple other things, everything people got looked so good!

The only thing the place has going, for it is the ambience inside. It is cute. That being said, the cocktails were not that great. The Caesar salad was lacking croutons, and instead had stale bread not the same thing. And on top of that, the server was rude.
I really hate writing this review because I've been going to this place forever. Yet last night was kind of the straw that broke the camel's back. Well their security and people are very sweet I can't say the same for the bartenders. I'm still shook. It was my friend's birthday so of course we're already spending a lot no matter what but the intoxication doesn't change what comes out of your wallet and you can manage it and see it on your phone. It was crazy to me because my partner even caught this twice The bartender kept overcharging us. I'd get to beers, and somehow it'd be $50, but she would have to interject. As I was getting tipsy I didn't think as much to it but he would tack on the drinks she just paid for onto my tab. Knowing we are well together and in the same party because we were pretty much the only people racking up any kind of money coming in but they definitely took advantage. I can definitely say I've been going there almost 10 years and now I pretty much will not go again. That money could literally have gone to Uber's or being safe or something else. Shoot even my friend's birthday money. It was just terrible be careful pay attention to every single transaction you make.

The food was good, the atmosphere was alright, the service was terrible. Our group was seated quickly but it took a long time for the server to come to our table. After waiting an unreasonable time ( we tried to get her attention several times) she brought a single small plate of bread for a group of 8. We had to get her attention again to bring, plates, utensils, and drink order. While we were ready to order our food because we had been sitting for a while, she only took our drink order. By the time we ate we had waited 1.5 hours. Not only did the food take a long time to get to our table from placing the order, the server was very rude. I will not go back and will not recommend to others. There are plenty of other restaurant options where I have been received well, served by friendly and courteous staff, and where the food was great and served in very reasonable timeframes

This is our favorite place to get the best food and service for our date night. We absolutely love the food, service and overall experience we have at Vini's ever time we have gone. It's our absolute favorite. Chef Tony makes the best pork chop I've ever had. If your looking for a place to get an amazing meal before your next downtown or tower district event I highly recommend Chef Tony and the entire vinis experience...and the bar and bar staff will not disappoint. Live music by Jeff Logan during dinner just made it perfection.

Visited the place to watch a music group. It was rather busy, but the service was good. The chicken and potatoes meal was delicious. The back patio was eye pleasing to say the least. Definitely took some notes on what to do with my backyard.

Lived in Fresno my 57 years of life and never been here. I've been a cook 40 years and was impressed with the taste, presentation and over all experience of the cuisine at this established restaurant. I see why it's been here for so long. Patio was nice but we fed the mosquitoes while out there. Prices reasonable for the quality of food. Definitely well tested recipes. I will be back.
