If you don’t have good avocados, don’t knowingly put them on the to-go plate expecting to slip one by.

The guy that took my order was nice, but I ordered Cajun fries and they gave me regular. Other than that, food was great. I didn't like that they asked for a tip before we received our order. Typically I tip based on the quality of the service I receive. I still left a $10 tip on a $40 bill. I enjoyed the restaurant.

Me and the kiddos wanted nachos so I was going to order from this taco truck I had rode by but then I remembered I had been wanting to try this place. So I called in and placed my order over the phone. When we arrived we saw a big sign above the register that said called or ordered online. So we got in that line. There was no one in front of us but off to the side there was a looong line of folks placing their orders. So we waited a few minutes for the cashier to finish up with a customer. So when He was finished with the customer we moved forward at the same time someone in that long as line moved forward and the cashier looked at us and said "Um the line is back there ". Mind you I saw my food was ready and on the counter but I just thought the line was for ppl picking up their food so we got in back of the line. We waited 10 minutes before I asked my daughter to go and ask the cashier isn't the line to pick up food right in front. The cashier says yes and looked at us and said "oh I guess I should have asked you if you were picking up huh". Not only was I pissed for waiting in that long ass line but I realized myself and my 3 children were the only people of color in the restaurant. The cashier seemed nervous at this point and managed to stammer an apology. Now the food... My nachos were cold at this point. Cheese was hard and the steak on them had absolutely no flavor. How can you fu*k up some nachos The fish taco we got was all batter and soggy. The salsas were good tho lol. To sum it up Hellz naw I would not recommend this establishment.

The atmosphere was inviting and employees were very friendly and knowledgeable. If your hungry the portions are oversized. I tried the following;Cajun fries = goodSalmon tacos = uhhhh no, the salmon didn't taste goodChicken tortilla soup = let's keep letting el pollo loco do this dish, the chicken has no flavorKale Kai Salad = 4 stars. If your eating healthy this will fill you up and is very tasty.

I have been going to Wahoos for over 20 years now and still end up finding myself going quite often. Every time I go to Wahoos I get the #2, fish taco combo. It never disappoints. The service is fantastic, as the workers are always beyond friendly. The ambiance is spectacular and really gives a Hawaï surf vibe. I have been going to the one in Torrance, California for practically my entire life and the best thing is that the quality between the locations never change. I believe it is some of the freshest Mexican food, that also withholds a Hawaiian culinary twist. It is my go to place after surfing or just being at the beach. It is nice to see that Wahoos does just as well in the Central Valley. This place has great, and again, fresh food. The fish is flavorful and does not have a fishy taste. The citrus slaw really aids in its refreshing flavor as well. I hope this location stays open! If you want Mexican food stop by Wahoos! You will not be disappointed! It's always worth the drive!

Friendly service, welcoming & friendly!! I got the paleo bowl, it was so healthy and tasty, could've had a bit more seasoning or spice on the carne asada but it was delicious and a large lunch portion!! We also got a basket of chips with 2 different salsas and guacamole. This Wahoo's also has outdoor dining under a covered patio, with the soccer game on the tube, it has a nice vibe. It's clean and a comfortable place to dine. I would definitely recommend this place and we'll be back!!

First time visit. A nice restaurant to enjoy a meal before, or after, a movie at the Maya Theatre. Can only speak to the Carnitas plate I had that included rice and black beans. Really enjoyed this dish with its complimentary tastes. Even had some leftovers as the portions were generous.Enjoyed the restaurant enough to make me want to return and try another dish to compare.Give it a try!

I like the bowls. They are similar to Chipotle's bowls and they cost about the same. The ingredients are fresh.
