The quintessential hole in the wall hidden treasure Chinese restaurant. This place is great for takeout. And they do have seating inside if you'd rather eat there, though it can be loud and warm.

I have been going here for years. Almost 10 years. Today 9/5/25 as the owner was getting my food ready to go she accidentally dropped a cooking utensil on the floor (no biggie) after getting the egg foo young out of the fryer. She packed my food. After a bit the husband comes and picks it up off the floor and puts it back on the clean cutting board area(that'sthe problem) and did not go straight to the dirty dishes and he didn't even wash his hands. That's very concerning and disturbing. People can get sick from this, especially if the floors aren't clean or hands aren't being washed. Thats a BIG safety and sanitation concern.
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)
Reusing dropped utensils is a serious health risk due to contamination from the floor, and health departments consider it a violation even if the utensil is picked up quickly. Contamination:
Floors are highly contaminated with bacteria, viruses, and other pathogens that can cause foodborne illness.
The health department should look into this!

What a wonderful meal!! I got broccoli beef, meat is tender , broccoli and carrots cooked perfectly. Food is piping hot and lots of it for under $15. Clean place and the owner is the nicest person I’ve met in a long time. Enough food left for at least two more meals . Very pleased?

I found this place when I moved around the corner from it. Even ten years after I moved I will still drive to them for the best Chinese food since Loy Loy's closed. Food is delicious, portion size is worth the money. They have a great menu a little bit of everything. I love that they know my order and my name!

I've tried most take out in Fresno and I gotta say there's alot of bland tasteless Chinese food in Fresno. When we first ordered from here I didn't expect much, but after picking up the food I was surprised by the size of each dish. I was even more shocked by the flavors and taste of the food. Wahs has become our favorite Chinese restaurant in Fresno, "Wahs ain't open today, I guess we'll have Chinese food tomorrow."
We truly enjoy their takeout Chinese cuisine. Their Wah’s Chow Mein is our favorite.
Food was great, but it was a bite on the price side but good for the amount. The one reason why I won't go back is because the service was way to long and then I guess someone they know came in and they stop cooking to talk then they aloud the person to walk back their. While the cooked and the lady did not wash her hands or any thing, just hair face and nose all on people food and just talking up a storm.
I so happy my food was done and just setting on their wormer but I was with some one who didn't get their for yet. so I don't know about this place

Airy and sparkly clean Mon and Pop Chinese Restaurant. Open kitchen right behind cashier so you can easily see and smell all the delicious action. Must mostly do takeout since there were only 3 tables for 4 people and one table for 2 people inside. Pretty diverse menu of meats, noodles, rices and soups. Done in a variety of techniques.
Parking: Shares large free parking lot with nearby businesses.
Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchairs OK if not crowded or don’t want fountain soda drink.
