I’m very picky about the food I eat. The Birria tacos were the best I’ve had anywhere. I want to go back there every week! The waitress was excellent and we loved the atmosphere. Overall, an A+ experience!

I’ve dined at several Yard House locations, including Sacramento, Roseville, and Los Angeles, and have always had positive experiences. Unfortunately, my visit to the Fresno location was extremely disappointing.
We went to the bar to place an order and were told we would not be served because I only had a digital ID on my phone. I do not drink alcohol, and my partner—who does drink—had a valid physical ID. Despite this, the manager refused to serve us any food at all, not even non-alcoholic items.
The manager, a blonde woman, was dismissive and unhelpful, and the interaction felt discriminatory and unprofessional. We were turned away and left with no option but to eat elsewhere.
We ended up going to Me-n-Ed’s, where we were treated respectfully. Based on this experience, I will not be returning to the Fresno Yard House and would not recommend this location.
