Alchemist Coffee Lab is much welcoming than Yava š!! As a first-time customer at Yava, I felt the service was unwelcoming. When I asked about their most popular latte, I didnāt get any helpful recommendation, which left me disappointed. Yava needs to step up their game and hire staff with more charisma and better customer care.

I have been to YAVA more than a few times, so this review is pretty accurate. First up, the food is nothing short of delicious, there are some things in the menu I havenāt tried (mostly breakfast items), the breakfast times are a little short, if your planning to come here for breakfast, you gotta come here before 11, I did try the salmon bagel which is very good, the bowls like the salmon bowl and chicken skewer bowls are really good, and are healthy in some way, providing rice and vegetables, itās a good thing to get if itās your first time going, the coffee is strong however, I personally recommend coming here, although it does get a little crowded sometimes, itās a perfect spot for brunch and lunch.

Iāve gone here once last year. The customer service wasnāt that great, well to me at least. Anyways Iām in line waiting to place my order. As I walk up the employee working at the register is talking about their new pastries. Iām not much of a sweet tooth so I politely smile and say, āNo thank you Iām fineā. The employeeās facial expression and tone changed so rapidly. I proceed to tell them my order, an iced chai latte (I wanted the biggest oz on their menu). To which the employee replied, āOh you canāt order that sizeā without any explanation. There then was an awkward brief of silence so without wanting to make a fuss, I just ordered with the smallest oz that I did not want. I sat down and waited long for my order although it wasnāt quite busy. No one had called out my order, after what felt like a while I stood up and walked over to a barista that wasnāt very occupied. I asked for my order and they grabbed it from the counter, it was sitting there for a while and all the ice had melted. The drink had tasted watery it was such a let down.
