You just can't beat the Carnitas Special for three people. I remember when the cost $12.99 and it was a steal. It's still a great price at $16.99. A place of Carnitas, bowl of Rice, bowl of Beans and choice of Flour or Corn Tortillas. Plus several salsas and Pico de Gallo.Chips and Salsa are no longer free and you have to order T the counter before sitting.
This place was great. The real thing. Friendly famiky vibe with gracious service. Carnitas was were excellent. I was thr only Anglo in a Mexican American group that were raving about thr food. Tortas were also a big hit. Ocal favorite.
Service is very slow, and being in the Industry, I know what to look for. While I was waiting to order. Food was dying in the window. I recieved my food and it was cold. I asked them to fix it, and the kitchen lady replied to her, "well, it was up there for ever" food isnt ever cooked cold. It becomes cold when not attended to. I gave a 3 star because the food was good when recieved. Good authentic taste. The service was awful. I came because it came highly recommended...
