The food is great and the cook is a sweet individual who is a great asset to the business. However, these positive aspects are unfortunately overshadowed by the unwelcoming and almost hostile environment the new owner (who took over for his wife at this location once Covid started) has set here. His demeanor is rude and treats both his employees and customers in a manner anybody with experience in the retail industry would consider outright rude. An example: I attempted to leave a tip for the chef, a long-time friend, by telling owner that the change was for her, in which the owner responded "I know what I am doing" - a strange response to say the least. Additionally, I asked the chef for an extra plate and he interjected saying "She is just a chef, I am the server. You talk to me." I feel as though this superiority complex may lead many to turn away from a once family-oriented, close knit business.

Pupusas were very good. The curtido was on point. The sauce could have been better, but I would definitely go back. A must try if you're craving pupusas.

This place has a bit of everything. We tried the adovada tacos, papusas, plantains, and tamales. Everything had a nice flavor. The plantains were good. Soft and a bit sweet and when dipped in creme, it made a nice savory dessert. The papusas were freshly made. The cheese was soft and chewy. Papusas are like quesadillas, but upgraded. they're like stiffed tortillas except a more soft and chewy version. The papusas here weren't really greasy like some other places. They were delicious with the salsa and pickled cabbage. The tamales are moist and flavorful. I had the pork. Salvadoran tamales are different from mexican tamales. Salvadoran are wrapped in banana leaves instead of corn husk. This gives them a very different flavor. These also had no sauce/stew. It was still moist and soft. Definitely a place to revisit. The owner was really nice. The menu didn't have cheese and jalepeno papusas . She added jalapenos to the cheese papusas for me. Thanks for the great meal!

Good food . Small business. The cook didn't speak English so I had to wait for the man to come in to take my order. But for the price of the papusas and the size, the wait was ok. My kids found some mint on the side of the building and they enjoyed the cactuses while we waited about 15-20 minutes.

I was craving pupusas, looked on Yelp and the only restaurant was Zamoras. All the others were food trucks. It looks like a small basic restaurant from the outside and inside, but the food is amazing! I had the plate #1, it came with 2 pupusas, platanos, beans, and crema. The lady is there making the pupusas by hand as you order. And the man at the counter was so kind. The taste of the food was delicious and perfectly portioned. Once you add the curtido and salsa it all comes together. The price was not bad, $25 for 2 plates and 2 drinks. I will definitely come back and support this small business.

The best pupusas! Can't go wrong here. Great little spot to pick up a take out order.

I'm not gonna talk about the guys attitude cause maybe he had a long day, and we all have our days, but I got popusas and they were very good which is why this is getting two stars, but I also ordered a asada burrito and to say the least I think Taco Bell puts more meat in their burritos than this place does! It was filled With beans and like 10 little pieces of meat I almost choked on how dry this burrito was, won't go again that's all I'm gonna say.

They make one of the best pupusas in town. Didn't expect much from the looks of it at first glance, looks like any another hole in the wall shop. It's In a run down part of town close to downtown. But looks can be deceiving. Had their chicken and queso pupusa one night after work. Bomb! Ya 'll need to try one. I'll definitely will be going back for more.

Delicious, soft, fresh papusas with so much flavor!! Everything was amazing and tasted authentic and home made. The staff was incredibly friendly and even offered to stay open a few minutes late to make sure I got my food. This is the best Papuseria in Fresno, hands down!! Prices are great too.

Came here because yelp review, was very disappointed. Burrito was filled with just beans and rice, hardly any meat. Burrito was flavorless, literally had to put salt on it. Salsa was watered down, cannot believe it.
