My friend and I traveled to Fresno on Friday for a concert. Needing to leave early from Gilroy to avert traffic, we thought we would find a place to wine taste in Fresno. Now, Fresno is not a wine destination. We had issues finding a winery open during the week. We had already identified Ziveli but they were open by appointment only. Throwing caution to the wind and no one answering the phone, we took a chance and drove there. Upon arrival we met, Hunter, son of the owner. He said they were decorating for a wedding but called his father to see if they could accomodate us. Bingo: John, the owner agreed. We had a blast! John was super hosptitable, honest, funny and a great host. His son, Hunter, age 22, was helpful and very informative. They have a quaint tasting rooom and serve home made pizza on the week-end. (We purchased their Cab, 2019 and 2021...great value!) Oh, and they have some newer wines for release that sound very interesting. Guys: thank you so much for hosting us!! Last, if you pop by, give our best to the family dog Grigio!!! Great name!!

Fantastic tasting wine and an overall really great vibe! Family owned business that are very good down to earth people. Their brick oven pizza is to die for. Great prices. Awesome outdoor seating. Will definitely be coming back again.

I loved that we had the honor to try a new wine that they hadn’t bottled yet and I can’t wait for it to come out . I’m definitely going to be buying tons of it. Let’s just say it was delicious.

Hosted our daughter's baby shower at Ziveli and it was a great time. Kara was amazing and helped us get our date setup and making sure everything was setup to meet our expectations. We used Hannah to decorate and man talk about exceeding all expectations. She transformed the space to resemble the baby shower invites and matched the theme perfectly. Both Kara and Hannah were onsite during the baby shower to ensure our guests were attended to and made it an exceptional experience. If you're planning a special day Ziveli is a destination where your guests will be delighted with great wine and atmosphere. Highly recommend the wine slushies and pizza.

Love this place, we don’t have much experience with wine but the owner is very helpful and friendly. The wine is delicious! Bonus it’s kid friendly! We have a 1 year old and a 6 year old. Other people bring their kids for them to mingle and they’re really friendly about it.

The staff's friendliness here made up for what was otherwise an average experience. My wife and I started with a tasting but switched over to the flight after doing the math, and the front desk staff were kind enough to let us continue without charging another full price. Of note, the owner also made a point to work the room, introducing himself and making recommendations based upon people's tastes. He emphatically recommended their 2017 Cabernet, which most of our group agreed was the best wine of the day. We also had the Riesling and Chardonnay as part of our tasting and the Pinot Noir and to finish our flight. Those who are fond of sweeter wines would enjoy the productions here, but if you are a fan of milder or oak-ish wines then you may not enjoy these.Other than the wines, the grounds are pretty nice. The outdoor space is roomy while being homely, and there's a patch of grass to be used for games. The only downside to our experience was the pizza service, which took over an hour to prepare our orders. The kitchen staff seemed rather stressed, and other reviews here suggest a less delayed experience for others, so maybe we just visited on a rough day. Had the pizza/food been a main reason for our visiting I probably would not rate as highly, but the wines were the draw for us. Will be interested to see how these bottles progress over the next few years.

We visited once before COVID-19 and we're looking for a wedding venue. Had an amazing experience that we went back for the Wine & Chocolate weekend. Arrived and waited in line for tickets, even though we had wristbands. Then waited again in another line for tastings. Our group got to the tasting counter and the were told we needed to buy glasses for $9 each, something the ladies at the front didn't say. Went back to wait in line again to buy a glass, and then again for tastings. After not having a great experience with that on a service level, we encountered a 40th birthday group. A few members were heavily intoxicated and were getting pours. A few of the women then came up to our group and got loud and way too in our face. Nobody did anything. They eventually stumbled out after causing a louder commotion taking pictures.

Ziveli Winery is the wine-derful destination you've been grape-ing for. Our second visit was just as grape as the first. The wine prices were vine-tage and the tastings were nothing short of vine-tastic. The brick oven pizza was so delicious, it was a real pie-mante. The decor was beautiful and the staff was very friendly and accommodating when we asked for a half and half pizza. The wine pours were also very generous for the price. We had a blast playing cornhole and ping pong, it was a grape time! And let's not forget about the cute and sweet dogs roaming around, it was the paw-fect cherry on top. So, don't be a sour grape, go visit Ziveli Winery, take a sip and savor the grape-ness of it all!

I've been to a few trivia nights and they do a great job of changing up the themes and keeping it challenging. Love the Orange Muscat. Highly recommend checking them out.
