The lawn setting under the large tree with lights and misters is inviting and relaxing. A true compliment to their fine wine selection.
Very pricey for lack luster tasting. Wines served as a flight. Website describes wine making and alludes to Bordeaux. Experience is stark difference...not really a wine tasting. They cater to folks who are hanging out to drink. Not our scene! Still looking for a local Madera winery that delivers great wine and wine tasting.
If you’re looking for a winery that effortlessly blends exceptional wine, warm hospitality, and a stunning atmosphere, Dorval Winery is a must-visit.
From the moment you step onto the property, you’re greeted with an inviting ambiance that feels both rustic and refined. Whether you’re seated indoors surrounded by elegant décor or enjoying the fresh air on their beautiful patio, the setting is perfect for relaxing and savoring each sip.
Speaking of sipping — the wine here is nothing short of amazing. Each glass tells a story of craftsmanship and passion, with flavors that are rich, well-balanced, and incredibly smooth. Whether you’re a fan of bold reds, crisp whites, or something a little more adventurous, the selection is thoughtfully curated and consistently impressive.
The staff at Dorval Winery truly elevate the experience. They’re knowledgeable without being pretentious, attentive without hovering, and genuinely passionate about what they do. Their recommendations are spot-on, and their friendly demeanor makes you feel right at home.
All in all, Door Wall Winery delivers on every front — taste, service, and setting. It’s a place you’ll find yourself wanting to return to again and again.
Beautiful scenery.
Just as beautiful as it’s always been! The wines were great, but it would have been nice to have some information on them as we tasted. We were just handed our flight and a menu with a “there’s tasting notes on here” and then we never saw anyone again. We would have loved to known about each one, how it was made, the new owners vs the old owners styles, etc.
Really nice and beautiful place to share friends. Wines really good, service very friendly.
Glorious lawn area with cork oaks to chill the warm summer breeze. Bring a gaggle of friends, delicious delectables and come enjoy the music and fine wines. Right off 41 near 22 Mile House.
Beautiful estate. Reasonable prices. Friendly staff. Plenty of space. Perfect for a relaxing afternoon. Wines are personal preference, but they are full of flavor. No complaints!
First time...loved it!
Awesome experience! We met Joan. She was very kind and friendly. We met Andrew Kerr the owner and were treated great. The Primitivo red wine was amazing. Enjoy this place as we did!

Nice event area and good wine tasting experience.
I hand delivered a letter canceling my wine club membership a month ago. Why am I being billed for a wine club shipment?
Andrew the owner and his staff, are great people! Can't wait to return!
What a great experience! My husband and I stopped at this winery on our way home from Yosemite on 07/28/2024. Willow was absolutely amazing and entertaining. The best service we ever had at a winery. We really enjoyed the Dorval Primitivo, and also the Dorval Cabernet. Highly recommend. We will definitely be back again soon.
Willow was AMAZING - best experience we’ve had at a winery in a long time. Wines were all great, prices reasonable, beautiful grounds and great service, what more could you ask for!
