Little to no energy or welcoming customer service at this location on campus. The one server there has the worst RBF(you know who you are). It's like they just hire anyone with any attitude nowadays. Smile more, interact with the customers more, it may make you're miserable day a bit better.

You would think after pandemic reopening, they would be happy to see your business, but no. The steak burrito was tiny pieces like thin cardboard of meat. Probably a tablespoon of meat that was literally on the grill too long and charcoal as to half. Not returning

Service and food is usually good but today i had an experience that left me not wanting to come back. Rude staff member. Abbey i believe was her name. Even customer behind me mentioned how uncomfortable she was ordering with her.

I'm feeling pretty angry today. I'm a regular here, as I'm a student and don't have a lot of money to spend on lunch. What I get every day here is two sides- one of which is a side or rice and beans and the other is with chicken. It only ends up being $4.32. Today, they are training new employees and the first girl skimped the amount of food that they gave me (seen in the picture below) and the when I went to pay the other new girl tried to charge me $7.56. My boyfriend ordered a more expensive meat and still paid the $4.32, but I got the cheapest thing and still had to pay more. When I talked to her politely that that wasn't right, she said sorry but made me pay $5.32. This is trivial I know, but people get your stuff together.

Updating again. I went to the Baja Fresh in Seal Beach and Irvine and was amazed how both of them were different than this. Over there both were delicious and they offer double the options. Cheaper too. I got a bowl here and it was sad cause I was still hungry and paid like $10. No salsa bar here either and the portions are way smaller. I love Baja Fresh, just not this location. As always free small side of chips are appreciated! Please retrain your manager CSUF. I saw her put a pepper back that dropped on the counter into a student or someone else's food. Even with gloves, the counter is dirty so nope, Very disgusting. That's not acceptable.
Baja Fresh is typically a decent spot, they have a good menu to select from of Mexican American dishes with chicken and/or beef.

Actually, this is Baja Fresh express, which means has limited options and doesn't let you use your reward points. -1 The prices are higher and the limited time items aren't on the menu. Go to an actual Baja Fresh instead. I remember enjoying it more. Portions are too small here. -1 An employee dropped a pepper onto the kitchen station and put it back into the food. Gross. -1 Wish our school had El Pollo Loco.
