Hidalgo’s Cocina & Cócteles

This is one of those places where you cannot judge a book by its cover. I was expecting crazy Mexican paintings on the wall, waitresses with Mexican dresses, as the outside looks like that's what it represents. However, when you arrive the place is small and looks a little dim in the day. Needing a little spark for sure but the food was amazing! We were greeted and serviced by a waitress called Sam. You can tell she enjoys her job or is really good at it. She left us very impressed. She knew the menu, she knew what to suggest and was quick to bring us a box for our left overs. Very attentive but not in an overbearing way. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends and family if you're looking for a chill vibe and delicious food.

Celebrated father's day with the family here for brunch. Overall we had a great experience, our server was wonderful. The food was good, and drink's tasty.

We had the best time, we took family members that were in from out of town and everybody loved everything! Highly recommend!

Service was exceptional. The food was terrible. No flavor. Meat had after taste. Avoid this place. Entire place was empty when we got there. This should have been a warning sign.

The food was mediocre, the ambiance and location was excellent and the drinks were excellent. Would just go back for the drinks.

Disappointed with the food. Tacos are extremely small. Appetizer size. Flavor is good. Portions are just very small. Value is not good too much money for two little food. Service is good.

Did not have a great experience. The food was over price and mediocre. I would not recommend coming here for brunch.

It felt dirty. They didn't have lamb on Saturday night!!! Food was really not good. We wished we'd gone to cellars. Our kids complained the entire way home how awful it was. Sigh.

loved jasmine ! absolutely amazing !!! went their for my anniversary just something simple near our house found this hidden gem sometimes the most quiet places can actually be better we loved the service and the food was up to my stand rate and i'm very picky ! thank you for the experience

10/10 recommend the new strip was goooooooddd, service was amazing kept getting checked up on consistently and the wait time for the food was definitely worth it . Definitely worth the time to come here I'll be coming here again.

Hidalgo is one of our favorites in Fullerton! The drinks are great; the food is delicious, and the service is consistently excellent. We'll be back again soon!

My freinds and I ate here. Brunch looked good , but it was a little late for us. So we picked from regular menu. I ordered the lamb shank birria way too spicy and rice was off.My freinds got the the chicken enchiladas.The rice was muchy and the beans were old.They did give us a discount, and we left.Was going to let it go , but both my freinds are sick. Would be coming back.

I ordered the shrimp Enchiladas I thought it was sweet but it was amazing I my self that love to cook and make authentic Mexican food I give it 10 yummy 😋
