Let me preface by saying I really respect the one staff member who took my order and made my food. I can tell that this place really put in effort to draw customers so I don't want to judge too harshly (check-in offers and coupons are not cheap!). I got the sausage bento and taro milk tea. I usually love sausage bentos but this one really missed the mark. I expected Taiwanese sausage, a soy sauce/tea egg, fluffy white jasmine rice, and some Taiwanese veggie sides. This place checked off just one of those expectations. While I was waiting for my food, I was looking up at the images and realized they just hard boiled a regular egg and didn't season it. The egg didn't taste very fresh when I ate it. Steamed veggies were a little mushy and the rice is definitely not jasmine rice. It's more like rice you would use to make Spanish rice. Tasty, but not what I wanted in my bento. I didn't eat it sadly. No one makes their own Taiwanese sausage anyway, so that was fine because it was just heated up. I also got a taro milk boba that I'm pretty sure was entirely from powder. Heavy milk flavor and no taro taste. Boba was average. They did give me a coupon which was nice, but I am very reluctant to come back.

I adore this cafe! Very friendly service, great price, and even better food and drinks! I had the cold brew with coffee jelly and breakfast burrito combo and it was excellent! I will definitely be back, highly recommend!!!

Calita Cafe has some of the best food and tea in downtown Fullerton for a great price. I live Downtown Fullerton so I've been to almost all of the restaurants in the downtown area. Nowhere else can you get a full size breakfast burrito and a large ice coffee for $6 and still being delicious. 5/5

Found this place while looking for take out restaurant. Tried their bento box combo (bento box +drink) and it's quite good. Prices are very reasonable. Have been back a few more times. Cons- service is bit slow (I think they are short staffed) and hours are not predictable (call ahead before you drive there). Despite the cons, will definitely come back again.

Sometimes the wait is long, because of the one man George holding down the fort, armed with his hard working attitude, dedication to the finest work he can put forth for you, and reasonable prices. Check it out, you will love it :).
Service is very very friendly. People that work here are very nice. They give student discounts if you are in school! Nice hang out spot as well. I tried the thai tea and the taste was very strong but i also tried the milk tea and it was good. Ordered taiwanese sausage and it was good! Service was slow but they we did order food so that was probably why. I recommend visiting.

This cafe is so cute and a very clean atmosphere I really love their popcorn chicken and their smoothies are amaizng! I definitely will be going their again.

I love how clean and modern the location is. It's nearby to a bunch of schools, so thats a plus. The food is good but honestly way too oily. I wouldn't come here if I was looking for something light. I would like it better if they let the fried food drain longer, especially for the burritos. I do not recommend their fries. They tend to be dry with almost no seasoning. Prices are fair for what you get. I like their toast and salad options. Their burritos are a hit or miss. Sometimes way too oily and other times the meat doesn't taste too fresh. I would recommend their drinks. They taste very clean and are refreshing. Calita cafe works extra hard to ensure your drink tastes right, just the way you want it, and I really appreciate their service. I tried this place for the first time and I love it. First of all, everyone who works here is really nice and the service is quick. I didn't have much time when I came in so I ordered it to go, and it came out within 10 minutes which was perfect. I got the Imperial Milk Tea and Turkey Swiss Sandwich. Although the boba was a little harder than I prefer, the milk tea tasted fresh as well as the sandwich. The sandwich was delicious and the sourdough bread was the best part. They also have bento boxes which I want to try the next time I come.
