I had marcella as my server. SHE WAS AMAZING!! Super quick with the orders, always checking up on us, and she knew how to keep the party going. She’s the best!!
They have a band every Wednesday for karaoke!! Positive vibes and strong drinks! Bring your talent and tell your friends!!
Great music good drinks honestly been there 2 times now would highly recommend.
Vibes were cool! 🤙🏾
I booked the VIP Brunch for 6 people ($200 package) and was excited for the experience, especially since I’ve been coming on Wednesday nights for karaoke. Unfortunately, the service and food were extremely disappointing.
VIP package confusion: When we arrived, our waitress never asked about our VIP status and immediately requested another card on file. It seemed as though the prepaid package wasn’t even acknowledged until much later.
Drinks: The first drink (a tequila/honey mix) was undrinkable, and it took over 2.5 hours before my table received a second round. Only after I spoke with Cory, the business manager, did things start to move forward. He did eventually acknowledge the VIP package and worked to correct the bill, which I appreciate.
Food quality and pricing: The buffet alone was $35 per person, and each plated item carried its own price — $22 for chicken and waffles, $17 for a burrito, and $17 for an omelet. Despite these high prices, the food was disappointing. The buffet was poorly presented and mostly cold (French toast, pancakes, muffins, Danish). The chicken and waffles, described by the waitress as large enough for two people to share, came as half a waffle with potatoes, a wing/drumstick, and a fried egg. The omelets and burrito lacked seasoning and flavor. Overall, the quality did not justify the cost.
Service & billing: The bill included over $75 in hospitality fees and items that had to be corrected. When we asked our waitress about the fee, she told us it was “herpitude.” Later, when I asked Cory about it, he said it was actually an “event fee.” The discrepancy is incredible and shows a complete lack of consistency or transparency. On top of that, when we raised concerns, the server acted as though we were the problem, rather than taking accountability.
While I give credit to Cory, the manager, for ultimately addressing the billing confusion and acknowledging the VIP package, the server’s attitude, the food quality, and the overall experience were terrible.
On top of that, a card from my party was erroneously charged $94 that should have never been processed. I have also since learned that other guests and parties have been charged after the fact by this establishment, with amounts ranging from $95, plus additional unexpected charges of $5–$14. This is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about billing practices.
From 11am till 4:50pm only 3 drinks/rounds were served to the table...
The food is good, the prices are good, the drinks are good and Wednesdays karaoke is the place to be! Sundays brunch is a hit too. Love chakos!
Chako’s Social, Wednesday karaoke is awesome!!! The band is so talented & the host is upbeat and fun!! The servers and bartenders are all friendly. Good vibes !!!
Hands down, best midweek night out in the OC. Chako’s Wednesday Night Karaoke is unmatched. The live band is so talented, and the $1 wings + BOGO half off margaritas is a steal. Can’t wait to go back next week and sing again!
Love this place! I came here alone for the Sunday r&b brunch and still had a great time. It was pretty busy, but not to the point of chaos. The food was surprisingly pretty good (I got the chicken and waffles) and the vibe was fun. The only nitpick I had was the music was super loud, so it was hard to hear staff members and vice versa. The bartender with the long curly hair was very nice and quick, along with the male manager who was super fun and kind! I’d definitely recommend to check this place out!
Honestly, this place is a vibe. The music hits just right, the crowd’s always fun, and the energy is next level. But what really makes it stand out? The bartenders — hands down the best around.
They’re super fast, know exactly what they’re doing, and can make you something amazing even if you have no idea what you want. Plus, they’re chill and friendly, which makes the whole experience even better. You can tell they actually love what they do.
If you’re looking for a fun night out, this is definitely the spot. Great drinks, good people, and an all-around awesome time.

This place is great for any day of the week and weekend
What’s up with this hospitality fee?
(Which is illegal by the way)Plus we still have to tip ?
Service is good but food is low quality my stomach started hurting right after eating a few of the nachos. We ended up leaving sooner than planned to another bar.
The continental is a way better option fast service & live DJ 🙂
Saw ads for the dueling pianos night on Facebook and thought I would give it a chance. Event was advertised from 6-10 on facebook, but advertised 6:30-9:30 on the website, not a huge deal. On the website there is a button to buy tickets for the event, again not unusual for a piano bar to have a cover charge. Once we arrived at the venue is when things started to lose stars. My wife and I walked into the venue from the street entrance and we were not asked for tickets or a name for the reservation or to even show that we bought tickets. I noticed a front desk like kiosk on the other side of the venue so we walked around to the other side of the venue. We were greeted by most of the waitresses from the venue, given a table and a drink and food menu, and then we waited. We arrived after the scheduled start of the event, and it hadn’t started. The start of the show wasn’t until a little over an hour after the scheduled start time. During the first hour of the show, it appeared that none of the other couples (there was only 3 others at this point) either knew before hand that dueling pianos were taking place or had to pay a cover charge for the event at all. Paying $22 for a reservation and not even getting asked about it, made it feel like it was not necessary. We both ordered a drink. My beer was fine but my wife’s glass of ruffino prosecco rose was not. The waitress also ddi not know what drinks they had in stock or not, and even mentioned that most of the draft beers were put. For a Friday night to be out of anything seems strange to me, but the way the wine was being stored likely caused the drink to go bad. The show was ok. Players were good, but having such a small crowd who didn’t seem like they were there because of the music, and were there for the nightclub afterwards, made it difficult to do a show that is entirely reliant on crowd suggestions. It also didn’t help that they stopped the show mid performance to greet a couple who walked in that I assume were regulars. At 9:00 the staff started to rest the room to prepare for the nightclub part of the night. To have paid for the night, not get the full advertised time, and the poor drink, I can’t give a positive review.
