I recently had the pleasure of dining at Chicana and was absolutely blown away by their vegan burger. It's not every day you find a vegan burger that's both flavorful and juicy, but Chicana has managed to create a masterpiece that stands out in the ever-growing field of plant-based cuisine. The burger was a delightful surprise, packed with taste and cooked to perfection, making it easily the best vegan burger I've ever had.What made our experience even more memorable was the service. Despite arriving 15 minutes before closing time and having a long order, the staff, especially our server, was incredibly accommodating. She took her time to ensure our order was perfect, never once making us feel rushed or like an inconvenience. This level of customer care and dedication to service is rare and truly appreciated.I cannot recommend Chicana enough. Whether you're a vegan or simply someone who appreciates great food and outstanding service, this place is a must-visit. Their commitment to quality, both in their culinary offerings and in their service, sets them apart. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Excellent food. It was absolutely amazing!! It was close to closing an our order took 12 minutes. The lady was very patient and expressed she wanted to ensure that we got what we wanted. We ordered quite a bit of food and everyone express that their food was exceptional. One of our orders was for someone eats meat and she was blown away by the plant based burger.

Fabulous vegetarian Mexican food. We would go out of our way to go here.It serves other things than Mexican food, but we stayed in that track and everything was great. We had the MexGogi Classico burrito and it was fabulous. And whatever heat you want with their salsas. Their mild was quite pleasant with just a bit of kick to brighten it all up.And we did 3 different tacos. All were great. With the MexGogi version being a real standout. But I'd always get different kinds.Don't forget, they even have an outdoor patio in the back.Highly recommended. Some of the best vegetarian Mexican flavors we've ever had.

Got lucky and found street parking right away on a Saturday! Ordered 3 tacos, asada, al pastor, and carnitas. The vegan proteins were absolutely scrumptious, tender, and juicy! The hot salsa tasted alright, but something was off. Can't place the ingredient that isn't fully vibing here...The Cucumber Agua Fresca was delicious! The vegan churro was stale. So yummy! They make vegan taste good.I was craving cheese and their cashew cheese is delicious. I got the quesadilla and I 100% recommend it. Very nice service too!
I'm not a vegan, but their Mojado burrito with red sauce and jackfruit carnitas (as the protein) was outstanding and very satisfying. I worked have this burrito over most others I've had in years.

Obligatory — I’m not vegan! However, one of my sisters is, another is vegetarian, and many of my other family members have been vegetarian at one point or another in their life (including me). That being said — I know good food!This is 100% the best vegan Mexican food you will ever try. I say this as a Chicana who grew up in San Diego. This food will make you not even miss a California burrito because theirs is THAT good. Their spicy salsa is actually spicy too! I’ve also had their carne asada fries and they’re soooo good.My biggest gripe is the price, honestly. It’s ~$17 to get half of what you get at a traditional taco shop. It is vegan, though, so I kiiiiinnnddddd of understand. I’m sure making vegan dairy products is expensive, considering it’s from cashews ?I haven’t tried their burgers yet but I’m willing to bet they’re phenomenal, too. For sure check this place out if you’re vegan or maybe just want to be a little more ethical in your meal choice. It will hands down be the best Mexican vegan food you’ve ever had and you won’t be missing the meat!

I love the concept of the restaurant - it being vegan for the animals. However i ordered tacos and would’ve preferred for the tortilla to be bigger. Protein portions were great but the tortilla was too small to hold. Either way i had a pleasant experience.
I ate here with some friends and the food was SOOOO good! It's a bit difficult to sit together inside when there's more than 3 people, but I can't hold that against this place. The vibe and decor in there is fun. I got a mexgogi burrito with their spiciest sauce, and I think it was the best burrito I've ever had. I will be back!

This place is great! Always consistent with the good food. One of my favorites is the Philly melt with all it's flavors of everything in it always fresh. If they have 3 leches out I always get one those are some of the best I've ever had! The other day they had some cupcakes and those were bangin' also! Staff is always nice and helpful.
