A truly wonderful restaurant. Ample parking in the lot behind it. The ambiance is very neat, and the food is delicious. The servers were kind and attentive. Highly recommend!! The garlic edamame was amazing. Every guest in our party was very happy with their meal from a 65 year old to a 9 year old.

This place hits all the marks! The food, the service, and the atmosphere were top-notch. It is a great place to come and have a good time with friends or family. The buy one get one half of sushi rolls make it easy on your wallet, too. I've been coming to this place before the new renovations and it was still a great restaurant. Now it's even better!

I love chomp and I don’t know what happened today but it seems like the service was lacking today? I don’t know if it was because of understaffing, or no one was paying attention, but there was lack of communication between staff and guests. We waited a while to see a host to get a spot but we had to find someone, then after finally sitting down we still didn’t have any staff approach us or ask for are drink order, in total the wait time was longer then expected so we chose to leave and eat elsewhere. Hopefully they have better communication with guests in the future.

Really great food, the chicken katsu is some of the best I've ever had, and I've had it all over, including Tokyo.
The portions are BIG, so you won't be hungry. Definitely reccomend

I stopped by there to run errands nearby. Buy one special roll, get one 50% off. Garlic edamame was served as an appetizer, and the service was good, but it seemed like there weren't enough servers compared to the number of guests. Isn't it right to check if there's anything you need once in a while? That was disappointing.

Waitress push and did not bring ours our beers we ordered and almost demanded tip even though she didn’t do a good job at serving our table
This is definitely my go to spot. The servers and ambience are all amazing. They also have specialized fish you can't just get anywhere which is a must try. The selection of appetizers to rolls is great the chefs are all in front making everything right there. Great place and great food!

I came with my friends for lunch on Wednesday morning, the 16th. I complained to the female server that the salmon didn't come out as I usually ordered and it was small, and she said that's how it is, and she made us feel bad. Then she went to the sushi chef's and I heard her swearing at us. I even saw the sushi chef shaking his head .I used to come here often, but she was really rude today.
Usually go to the Whittier location. This was the first time in the Fullerton location. Loved the interior design and of course, the food was great as always! We were in the area for a street fair just around the corner which made this the perfect spot for a quick lunch without having to repark the car. I like that the food quality is comparable at the different locations. Takes the surprise out of whether things will be good or not.

Wow really disappointed! I used to come here all the time growing up & it was a hit because of the hibachi grill. We’ve gone a few times to give it a chance since they no longer do hibachi & every time, we were all disappointed with the food. The sushi is decent but really nothing special. Hopefully there will be new owners who bring the hibachi grill back because they were the absolute best at that time!

The prices are outrageous and thier staff has gotten lazy,no more welcome shout ,i struggled to get the waitress to bring me napkins

This place is definitely underrated on other platforms. The food and atmosphere transported me straight to Japan, with an authentic vibe that’s hard to find.
