Original Clyde's Hot Chicken

20$ a combo and can’t even change spice levels to my 4 tenders so I can try all the flavors. Only one flavor or spice per order. Completely ridiculous price for chicken.
Nothing unique about this spot. Combo doesn’t even come with a drink that’s separate. Waste of time and food.

The Wish on of fast food

I ordered the grilled cheese meal for $9.99 which came with a sandwich, potatoes and a drink. With two cars ahead I waited 25 minutes in drive through and an additional 7 minutes at the window.

And though I was asked what I wanted to drink, she forgot. I'm not sure if the small cup is what usually comes with the meal or she didn't rember my order so she gave me a kids cup. I also ordered an 8 piece roasted chicken bites. I got the breaded instead. I didn't have time to wait. My order cost 21.xx.

The camera filter on my phone makes the chicken look brighter and more appealing than reality. It's maroon in color and dry. Approximately 1.5 chicken breasts of meat or 1 really large chicken breast. The heat is just there to be hot and otherwise a very plainly seasoned chicken.

First time coming here the employee girl she was very rude bad customer service and the chicken was very dry like if it was warmed 100 times threw the chicken away I wouldn’t give it to a dog. Never again coming here. First and last time.

if u wanna wait 40min plus for your food like you’re going to a restaurant instead of a chicken joint, then clyde’s is for you. dont get me wrong, the food is amazing and is worth the wait (most the time). but, the people that work there act like they wouldn’t cared if you died in the line waiting for your food. no rush from the workers to meet the demand of their amazing food, you’d think they were all high back there and they probably were.

Don’t come here they made me wait for 30 minutes for my meal the fries was old and chicken was old and they just talked meanwhile am waiting for my food at the window I don’t usually write reviews actually I never did but this place need to be shut down or new owner

First at the drive thru speaker we were told the fountain machine wasn’t working and they couldn’t provide soda or water. Then we waited at the window for 16 minutes and when our food came out (a sandwich and fries) they shut the window on us without so much as a greeting or apology. Worst drive thru experience, second to the Diamond Bar Taco Bell!

Alright.... I'm not happy about this review but there is a lot that went wrong here tonight.

I sat in the drive thru for almost 5 minutes before someone came on the mic. There was a car in front of me at the window that just up and left because no one would take his order. Customer service left A LOT to be desired.

As pictured, I ordered a 3PC combo with Crinkle Fries and Original Clydes seasoning. Lets talk about that...

Chicken: Fresh. Nice hot and juicy tenders. Seasoning? One note and got boring really fast. I only finished the third one because I paid 16.99 for this, and wasnt going to waste what was essentially $5.

Fries: The saving grace of the whole box - good crunch and just the right amount of salt and seasoning.

Sauce: Better than Canes but thats about it. Nothing special.

Pickles: Meh. A really solid - Meh.

Drink: Just like Dave's, they only have one cup size - not a fan. Especially when I saw cups in photos that were way bigger than the paper cup I got. The plastic cups were what I was expecting to get.

My wife wanted an Oreo shake but they ran out? Somehow sold the last one right before we got there. Weird. Are they pre-made and no one wanted to make another? Was around 2.5 hours to close, so sounded like they didnt want to make anything else.

Overall? This was my one and only time coming here. $5/chicken tender just is not a valid price point for what I got.

I ate here a few days ago with a friend, honestly the waffle fries were wonderful, dont change thst recipe, so crispy throughout the meal and so perfectly seasoned. My only real gripe with the meal was the hot as cluck sandwich wasn't spicy at all, I could taste a bit of seasoning but I was a little disappointed in that. Otherwise the sandwich was well cooked, the pickles and slaw went well with it. Would come again just to try 1930.

EVERY TIME we come by Clyde’s at night there are NO SHAKES. Tonight it was only 8:10p. If the staff is going to make cleaning the machine the priority so they can go home early or the restaurant is not properly stocked to serve shakes all day and night then don’t offer them.

Ordered a Double Cluck combo, they gave us a tiny kid’s drink with it. It’s not under the kid menu, but they said it was for it. They didn’t even offer to correct it. We also said it was for dine-in, but they bagged it. It wasn’t even busy, so I don’t know why even make that mixup.

Workers are really friendly, the chicken is made fresh on the spot. Best Hot Chicken I've ever had!!!☆☆☆☆☆

Came on Thursday, The manager Juan is the reason this place is amazing, the crew all looks happy and he made my pregnant wife a custom shake! Said they use to serve it, They were busy and he still took the time to make sure we were taken care of. The food was great and spicy the sauce was absolutely the best with the chicken tenders. Our kid comes here for lunch from the high school he says the same about Juan and the girl couldn't get her name but she's always there most mornings. Hopefully my wife can get that shake again cause she loved it! Thank you Clyde's be back soon!
