Saw online about this place and it didn’t miss. My favorite dish was the galbi definitely so good cooked to perfection. Maybe skip the miso bossam and order 2 of the galbi. We also ordered rose tteoboki w rigatoni. It says spicy but I’d say it’s more of a mild flavor. The truffle potato jeon is very good too I love truffle flavor

Today I got to try dPlace, and the experience was very enjoyable overall. As soon as we walked in, the atmosphere felt clean, modern, and welcoming. We ordered the salads, rosé pasta, and the OC galbi. The food quality was excellent, and the $63 marinated galbi really stood out. It was tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Everything was also plated nicely, which made the meal even more enjoyable. This is a great place to visit with a girlfriend, family, or for a small gathering in a nice atmosphere, whether for lunch or dinner. One of the servers, Jane, was especially friendly and sweet, which made the experience even better. The price is a bit high for the portion size, but I would definitely come back for the galbi on a special occasion.

Food was delicious. Just service was poor. I think they relied so much on the robots to deliver food, that they forget to check on the guests to see how they're doing or if they need anything. There's a call staff button on each table tablet but don't think it works, because staff would not come whenever we pushed it. We had to flag the servers if we need something. Overall experience would have been good if the service was a little better.

The hostess we had were both very sweet, a man and a lady and they both were really sweet. the problem that I really had was that the restroom was so nasty and disgusting that when I went in there it just made my stomach twirl because now I'm thinking what did that kitchen look like where the food was coming out of?!! I definitely would not return!

Excellent dishes. The korean galbi was excellent just like an AYCE Kbbq. The Carbonara was creamy and delicious. And the squid was perfect. All the flavors were incredible. I would definitely go back again!

We were here yesterday and waited in line for about an hour. When it was finally our turn to enter, the hostess stopped me in a very uncomfortable way, physically holding her hand up in front of me and blocking my entry. She did not greet us or speak politely. Instead, she abruptly told us that we were not allowed to bring our own coffee.
I simply said “okay,” and we left immediately. This was very disappointing, as we genuinely loved this place and used to come here every week. Unfortunately, after this experience, we will not be returning. I hope managers will take action on this as we explained this case to few waitresses.
All food we ordered, especially Grapefruit Burrata , Truffle Potato Jeon , OC Galbi Korean and Grilled Misso Bossam were absolutely fabulous!!! I was truly impressed on delicious taste I have experienced. I recommend this restaurant very strongly~~~ 음식이 다 너무 맛있어요 !!! 강추합니다!!!

Used to be soup and salad place. Now its a fusion. I had the OC galbi my mother had the pasta. I liked their wine selection not to pretentious. Good selection of drinks. My entrée was generous I think I'm still digesting the meat the day after. The flavor was excellent and the char broil crunch fat was excellent. The Pescatore was Okay but the convenience of being able to order Korean and Italian was excellent. If you are non korean, this is an excellent place to go. Its young, hip, good vibe, great service, clean bathroom, and they all speak excellent American.

D’Place Steakhouse is such a hidden gem in Fullerton. The vibe is moody and stylish, perfect for a date night. I ordered the OC Galbi, calamari, and seafood salad — everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The fusion of Korean and Italian flavors was unique and so well balanced. Service was attentive without being overbearing. Definitely a must-try if you’re in the area!

Staff were busy that even when we made the call on the table kiosk, they weren't prompt to the call. But they were friendly...maybe they were just short-staffed despite the help from robot servers. Food is some what fusion-like....if you like authentic food, you may not like them. But in general all food we ordered tasted alright.
