The El Fortin is a off the main street little Mexican restaurant. Little places doesn't mean they can't have a great food. We had the enchiladas de la casa and Enchiladas Campesinos. Both were delicious. The staff was great and fast. Would go here again.

Great burritos. Same price as a Chipotle and right down the road. Be prepared to know at least a little Spanish lol

Great food, service was excellent. Prices are relatively cheap. Place was clean
Review for El Fortin Restaurant (Fullerton, CA)
I had a terrible experience here. Roughly around 8 PM today I ordered the mole negro plate and not only was it poorly prepared, but it made me physically sick—I ended up vomiting afterward. I couldn’t even finish my drink or the mole plate because the food was just that unappetizing. I expected authentic Oaxacan flavors, in addition, I also saw a cockroach on the floor next to where I was eating. I instead got something that tasted off and felt unsafe to eat. Definitely not coming back and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
Different types of Mexican food from the traditional restaurants
The food was delicious. We had a lot of food, tlayudas, guacamole, nopalitos caldo de pollo, chile relleno, enchiladas, champurrado, and gorditas. Everything was made fresh and we enjoyed it.
Nice place
