El Sabor de El Salvador

Food, service and people are excellent. But will only do take out from now on. Music is very loud and the music videos are extremely sensual and should not be allowed to play while eating especially when children are present. This is not family friendly. I have been to numerous restaurants throughout my life and have never seen these videos playing while enjoying a meal. I was there and people were whispering how bad the videos were. I gave this one star because the experience was so bad we could not enjoy our meal.

If you’re looking for some delicious Pupusas with curtido and salsa, this is the place. Such a great addition to foods of Fullerton. Being cash or pay with Zelle! No cards.

Everything was delicious. From the first coffee that came out to the last bite, my little one kept asking for more chicken, so flavorful.
You have to try their tamales, the masa has great taste and the texture is perfect. Their pupusas were perfect ratio of masa to filling and were not greasy at all. We also tried their gallina guisada with rice and salad, perfect! This is not a regular menu dish, but try anything guisado, and I’m sure it’ll be great also.
I enjoyed the service and atmosphere also.
I don’t write many reviews, but I had to for El Sabor de El Salvador because I definitely recommend.

Amazing place, very traditional, every dish We tasted home made, this is a must try.

Gallina guisada is delicious, pupusas are fresh, quality cheese, good portions and flavorful, curtido a little spicy but not overwhelming, just the right kick. Tamal de pollo was a delight.

Customer service was great. Clean place, good music and TV. Plenty of parking.
