We love Flame Broiler Korean style food. For a fast food chain, this place rocks. The staff was very helpful and the place was clean. We had mini tofu veggie bowl and mini Nae chicken bowl with avocados. The food was better than imagined.

I’ve been a frequent customer at this location, but after what I witnessed today on Dec 31st, I won’t be returning.
While sitting in my car parked in front of the restaurant, I observed a food employee remove gum from her mouth, put in a new piece of gum, use her phone, and then return to food preparation without changing her gloves.
This is a serious sanitation and food safety concern. Seeing this completely changed my comfort level with ordering from this location. Proper hygiene practices are essential when handling food, and this was very disappointing.

I remember this used to be my go to spot, but they don’t fill your bowl up with meat anymore. You get a little meat and even a little veggies and a ton of rice. I can’t believe I got only 1 broccoli and 3 carrots! Also meat looks totally different compared to before im not sure if is under new management but food is not the same .
Also stuff is rude they not even try to be friendly. If you are having a bad day they would make it worse.
I was there today 10/17/25 around 1:35pm
Disappointing.

Flame Boiler is such a special place thanks to the people who make it shine. Store manager Yoshi’s kindness and extra care set the tone, and the cashiers and kitchen staff are just as wonderful. The food is always fresh, healthy, and flavorful. Happy 30th Anniversary, and thank you for blessing so many with your throwback $2.95 chicken bowls!

I remember this used to be my go to spot, but they don’t fill your bowl up with chicken anymore. You get about 4oz and a ton of rice. If you want a side of chicken it’s 5$ for another 4 ounces.
Disappointing.
Emily has the nicest & most helpful service with an amazing attitude to pair! Give the original location a shot please! :D
Too expensive. Go just down the street east to Roll and Grill for a beef bowel with similar yet better flavor at much better value ($6 vs $9).

Always friendly, they serve my plate the way I like it. No salad extra veggies with onions. I love the pollo asado flavor they give it.
The few times I've had Flame Broilers have always been good, healthy choice of food. Simply flavored protein with blanched veggies and rice with a little raw green onions on top for freshness. I mean it's nothing to rave about, but solid healthy option when you haven't packed lunch. If you eat it rationally, you shouldn't be left feeling like it lacked in any category of meat, veggie flavor, or carb. Solid all around healthy fast food.
My son and I stopped at Flame Broiler for the family meal. The cashier took our order and was very kind and efficient. Upon receiving the food she asked me if we needed plates, forks, and more napkins. We left with such a great feeling and will make sure to visit this establishment the next time we are in Fullerton again. ?
Flame broiler is delicious.
Very friendly counter persons, great food and an operable soda machine. What more can you ask for?
