We heard about this highly rated Italian restaurant in Fullerton and had to eat there. We had pizza that was wood-fired in an oven that was out of this world! We had a salad and desert. We liked so much we went back later that night for dinner. I will definitely go back to Fuoco Pizzeria Napoletana!

Excellent experience! Pizza was very authentic, and the crust was perfect. The dessert- Spumoni Bomba- was SO GOOD. It's Neopolitan Gelato (chocolate/pistachio/cherry?) covered in a dark chocolate coating the shape/size of a large orange. The flavors were so bold. Wow. Definitely coming back. Service and atmosphere were excellent.

Maybe I need to come back and try the other pizzas but the capricciosa was a massive disappointment. The tomato sauce was watery, underseasoned and dilute, which made the dough soggy and toppings slide off. The mozzarella was chewy and rubbery. Aggressively mid at best. I’ve made better frozen pizzas at home while half asleep. What saved the experience was that our bartender/server was incredible, and the beer selection was great. Otherwise…just ok.

hands-down a favorite among my friends, we love coming here, especially on Mondays, for their awesome Margherita pizza deal... but if you really want to treat yourself, the Diavola is a must-try. it’s our absolute favorite!
what really sets Fuoco apart is the dough: so fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked in their oven. honestly, these pizzas are best enjoyed right out of the oven while they’re still hot. we’ve tried taking them to go and it’s just not the same.

Surprising inexpensive for authentic Italian food. Imported flour Italy, Italian chefs, and an Italian pizza oven.
One from our group is from a small town from NE Italy and this restaurant received his endorsement as authentic.
We had a reservation. We even brought our own special desert dish which they kept in their freezer for a nominal fee.
Our Italian friend moves to the Bay area next week, and we wanted to treat him to something special.

AMAZING!! We booked a table last minute on a Saturday evening, we were VERY grateful for the friendly service and getting the resi on such short notice.
We were greeted and seated quickly when we arrived, the service to the table was impeccable; timing for the food and drinks was perfection. We shared a variety of food and appetizers, my favorite was the Fuoco pizza, yheir version of the Mule is also delicious 😊
Reservations are available via telephone for parties of 10 or more. If you don't have a reservation, trust that it is worth the wait 💯

Service and appetizer were good. I don’t like charcoal looking or taste in my pizza.

This place was recommended to us by a friend and it was the WORST pizza we’ve ever had. This is not Neapolitan pizza. It was chewy and soggy, and had no flavor. We ordered the Margheritat and the Contadina and both were very disappointing. We’ve been searching for Neapolitan pizza for a while and we were so excited to try this place. Definitely not worth the price. We sat at the bar and the service was good.

It’s… ok. Whoever said this place is authentic doesn’t know what that is. Everything is a little off like a facsimile of the real. The pesto is just olive oil blended with basil no parmigiano or pine nuts. The prosciutto and mozzarella are a little stale like it was in the water too long or cut long ago. The pizza has nice flop, the sauce seems ok, not too salted, but the dough is way too dense and chewy and not pillowy. Cheese is too thick. Also size is not Neapolitan. It’s way too big. Overall it’s ok. Not sure I’d come back. Service so attentive tho

Fuoco Pizzeria Napoletana delivers a truly authentic Neapolitan experience that goes far beyond just pizza — it’s a taste of Naples brought to life. The moment you walk in, you can feel the passion and pride this family has for their craft. The warm ambiance, rustic charm, and Napoli soccer team decorations immediately set the tone — you know you’re somewhere that honors tradition.
I ordered the Margherita Pizza, and it was phenomenal. From the light, airy crust with a slight char, to the rich flavor of San Marzano tomatoes and imported mozzarella, every bite felt honest and handcrafted. You can taste the truth behind what’s written on their menu — that Fuoco means “fire,” and that fire is what makes their pizza authentically Napoletana. The oven itself, hand-built near Naples by artisan Stefano Ferrara using volcanic sand from Mt. Vesuvius and bricks from Campania, is a beautiful story of heritage and dedication.
Their Three Cheese Bar was also exceptional — creamy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Knowing their cheeses are imported weekly from Caserta, Italy, makes every bite even more special.
What really topped off the experience for me was discovering that Fuoco is a family-owned restaurant. The mother, father, son, and daughter all work together, creating an atmosphere that feels welcoming and genuine. You can tell they care deeply about preserving the traditions of Naples and sharing them with their guests.
If you’re looking for an authentic Napoli pizza experience, this is it. Between the food, the family, and the ambiance — Fuoco Pizzeria Napoletana is worth every visit. I’ll definitely be returning to try more of their pizzas.

Came here for dinner with friends. Must say it did live up to anticipation. The salumi plate was absolutely a treat for the eyes as well as the tummy. Place is a favorite and it gets loud. We joked about it but it’s not bad enough to deter us from returning. The pizza is Neapolitan style thin with a slight char on the crust. Services is friendly and welcoming. Food is craft so it will take time be patient.
