My new favorite restaurant, great food, good vibes, great staff.I was lucky enough to notice this restaurant while out one day when it was new, and went during the soft opening. I don't even think its been two months but my partner and I have gone in or had takeout a total of 4 times, and they remembered us after just the first visit, even commenting on my absence when my partner picked up our food alone.I don't think we've gone on a Friday or Saturday but we've gone for lunch and for dinner, and it's been pretty empty so far. The aesthetic is really simple but cute, it's small but feels spacious, and the music isn't loud or distracting. So far we've tried the Pajun, Hama Chicken, Soondubu, and Japchae which all came quick and has met or exceeded our expectations. They've also served us complimentary tea to start and rice punch the last time we went as a dessert. The Hama Chicken isn't labelled as spicy on the menu for those of you averse, but I think its a good level. The staff has always been friendly, attentive, and willing to answer questions about the menu.My one critique is that I wish they had knives because I don't enjoy eating fried chicken with either my hands or chopsticks but otherwise 10/10.

The water tasted like a sewer water. Not drinkable. The Galbi Tang is bland. I needed to put a lot of salt. I also bought their specialty fried chicken, but the taste was not there. Not recommended. A bit pricey

We recently tried HamaHippo and were pleasantly surprised with the good service, delicious food, and fair prices. 3 weeks later we brought our church group of 23 people and got the same results. All enjoyed the hospitality and definitely will come back!

Good food but poor value. The portions here are small yet the prices are high. Our favorite was the KFC, which is 7 pieces of wings. It came right out of the fryer and was flavorful and juicy. Least favorite was the bulgogi, which was served on a pool of liquid on the cast iron skillet. The galbi was good but not worth $32. The galbi tang is served with 2 ribs and is good but pretty standard. The ambiance is a little sterile but the service is friendly and efficient.

They're having their grand opening. Menu changed slightly, but their flavorful food has not changed at all. Service is superb with a the same waitresses. Always friendly kind and helpful in making decisions. The interior decor is modern and stylish. Our usual Korean restaurant to hang out at. We make this our weekly dinner spot. We haven't missed 1 week.

For lunch special, its just a solid tasting and relatively cheap new eatery. It appears owned and run by two sisters and the experiences i've had were great. They were very nice and accomodating
