I've been eating here since I was a child. Even now at 20 I still enjoy their food and got my girlfriend hooked in their shrimp fried rice. Absolutely great place and great service from the staff.

Tried this place out for the 1st time and I was not impressed at all. As a reviewer, I love giving 5 stars to places of business. As a fan of Chinese food, this one was not flavorful at all and the BBQ chicken was dry and seems like it was sitting for a while. The noodles and rice were also dry with no flavor. The portions are plentiful and the price was ok. Sorry, Hot Wok I hope when I or if I visit again the food will be better.

The best chinese food in town. It has been a go to restaurant for our family for years. Honey chicken.. Honey chicken a must have. Never disappoints. After 30 years +, they relocated and are in a different localion: close to orangethorpe & euclid. Worth it.
I love going to hot work the food is always very fresh but a little expensive
I ordered delivery from again. I have done in the past, they never delivered it and they stole my food. I have never received the meal and they never refunded my $70.
When I called looking for my food, the manager hung up on me.
I will never order from the Hot Wok again.
Beware of this restsurant.
Food had no taste. 3 entrees all tasted the same. Egg rolls were oil rolls. Tasted like 3 day old fryer grease. Broccoli beef all broccoli, 1 piece of dry beef. BBQ pork like leather. Sweet and sour chicken blah. Chow mein no flavor. Rice was OK. 2nd and last visit, couldn't even eat it. Good service, though.
Food was bland, the service was awkward and too many rules and signs.
I ordered a 2 item. Orange chicken , Kung pao chicken plus rice and noodles. Rice was cooked well, noodles were plain, Orange chicken tasted like pork but not Orange
the Kung pao was very plain no spice.
The signs of 10% charge for dine in , where to stand depending on dine in or take out and fees/gratuity was too much.
The food options were very limited and didn't look fresh
The outside was off putting looked closed.
Service was short and not welcoming
I was excited to try this place but most likely will not return
Friendly staff, great service, and food is hit or miss. If you come during lunch or dinner, the food is fresher. If you come in between those times the quality lacks.

The chow mein is a big no for me. The bbq chicken wished was more cooked like bbq grilled. Very low quality I think.. I'd rather go buy panda then get food here for almost the same price. Don't Recommend this place

One of the few places that have Egg Foo Young. But it’s not on the menu. You have to ask for it and it’s available vegetarian or with meat. Large portions and takes about 15 minutes. Very good!
As a slim guy, the most frustrating experience is leaving a restaurant still feeling hungry despite shelling out $12.20 - it's a disappointment that hits both my stomach and my wallet!"

Ordered chow mein, fried rice, BARBQ PORK, egg rolls, chicken teriyaki. Best hole in the wall chinese joint around. This place used to be located in Anaheim then moved to Fullerton and now at this location. Loyal customer for 30 years!!!!
Great food, Great service fast & friendly!
If people have not noticed yet PRICES have gone up everywhere for everything and portions have been cut down including fast food chains. If a 3-4 portion meal is expensive for you at an average of $10 a plate :( no bueno. Stick with TB.
Drove all the way from Mission Viejo for lunch and would do it again.

We have eaten here on and off for 2 years. My wife wasn't feeling great so my 15 year old daughter went in to order and they cut back on the portions. Ordered 4 qty. 3 item combos where rice and noodles were short and entrees were barely more than 2 items. I really wouldn't mind if this wasn't $65. Oriental Chinese Cuisine in Placentia has a family deal that's less expensive with more food but it's made fresh instead of prepared dishes. If only they were closer than Hot Wok.
Overall I'm disappointed with the portions and quality for the price. It used to be a good deal where price met quantity for value. They need to pick a lane, be affordable with nice servings, or increase quality with less portions. And don't jump on opportunistic sales and take advantage of 15 year old girls.

They moved farther away from me. Portions are smaller $10 for 2 item combo. I got honey chicken and spicy chicken. Spicy had a weird taste to it, and honey was hard like stale.
